Excellent Dinner - Edit
My wife, daughter and I attended Veganees during our holiday to Amsterdam. The service was very good and the food even better. Similar to Wagamama in that the food comes out once it’s ready. We recommend getting a variety of dishes and then sharing them. The cauliflower wings were the highlight of the meal.

Excellent restaurant with modern twists on Asian classics. The kimchi toastie with umami fries was naughty but delicious. The spicy tomato juice was made fresh before being served and was perfect. Noodles with okra and gyozas were also very good. Everything plant based/vegan!

If I could rate this higher I would. We started there for lunch: bloody Marys, banh mi, kimchi sandwich, Korean cauliflower wings, baos. We loved the baos and cauliflower wings. The sandwiches were great too! BUT we came back from dinner the same day and order 12 baos and a large soup for the 2 of us. The last 8 baos we're extremely spicy for some reason, I don't think they wanted us to order more baos lol

we really enjoyed the dinner. We had summer rolls, spring rolls, baobuns and gyozas and although it was a bit pricey we enjoyed it a lot!! Especially if you like tasty food, you will really like veganees!! 🫶🏽 The location is nicely furnished and welcoming😄

Let me tell you, the dishes come with great preparation and full of flavours; some of them maybe too spicy for some ppl, but we love it (true Vegan Asian Street Food).
I have to highlight my favourite, which was the Korean fried cauliflower! Gosh, the best cauli's I ever had!!!!!
Summer Rools, Edamame, Spring Rolls, a coconut soup, 2 x Bao Buns and 2 x salads plus desert, completes the menu!
Excellent price for value!
The staff was quite friendly and attentive too.
Occasionally they throw parties with dinner and party disco included, and we think that it will be the perfect occasion to come back!

We shared the favourites menu (2 people) and unless you are very hungry/can eat a lot, I would recommend to choose it with 3-4 people. The favourites menu covers the majority of the menu items (s. photograph of marked dishes) in original size, so ratio between price and value is very good.

This place was good, but wouldn’t be at the top of my list for a visit to Amsterdam. The Thai peanut noodle bowl had a diluted sauce without a lot of flavor. It would have been complemented with some bolder inputs like more peanut sauce or a great garlic chili paste. The thing they did well was finely chopping fresh vegetables for both whole food nutrition and a decadent display.

We went there as a group of 6 and took the 30€ p.P. thing where you get all kinds of foods on the table (inclusing desert), it was a lot and we loved all of it. I don't think its that much more expensive than other restaurants in Amsterdam.

Veganees is a 100% vegan restaurant with many tasty snacks. We had the Gyoza's, Korean fried cauliflower (super tasty!), spring rolls, tofu satay, summer rolls and crunchy tempeh bao bun. The were also very tasty and the interior inside is very nice. The portions were quite small tho, but I do highly recommend this place! I would eat here again, nice experience.

Didn't blow my tits off or anything but I got to try a few dishes I've never had before from different cuisines. Two of us shared and the other had his own stuff, and dishes came out as they were ready rather than being prepared in time, which is unusual but I'm not against it. The food that was marked on the menu as spicy wasn't that spicy and it's a little bit on the dear side. They had a few interesting beers including an Indonesia pale ale from Lowlander.

It's not that this is a bad place, but it isn't more than okay either. This thing with sharing many small dishes seems to be a Dutch thing for going out with a big group of friends. For that, Veganees might be ideal. If it's just two of you you won't be able to try much and will still be hungry afterwards unless you want to spend tons of money.

Gisteravond heerlijk met mijn vriend bij veganees gegeten, beide niet veganistisch maar wilde toch graag een keer een veganistisch restaurantje proberen! En het was het meer dan waard, wij hebben echt genoten. De porties waren aan de kleine kant, maar omdat de smaken zo goed zijn is dit ook meer dan genoeg! Wij hebben 5 gerechten met zijn tweeën gegeten en dit was ook echt genoeg. Het restaurant zelf is mega gezellig om te zien, en het interieur is super!!

We hebben met zn 4ren gekozen voor het menu waardoor iedere gang een verrassing was. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en ondanks de drukte was er genoeg aandacht voor de gasten. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en komen zeker terug voor de bloemkool, de summerroles en de buns. Echt een aanrader voor een mooie avond eten.
