Cocina deliciosa y muy cuidada. Se nota la mano de los chefs experimentados. Pueden parecer a priori platos sencillos pero cuando los pruebas te das cuenta de que podrían ser alta cocina. Las alcachofas y la miniburguer con queso feta, mis preferidos.

Reservations needed but they seem to make exceptions. Interior is lovely & supposably històric. It's fancy, however the menu doesn't match with the aesthetics in my opinion. There should be vegan shrimp with pasta up in there or something & something more gastronomy to fit the vibe. That's the most expensive quesadilla I've ever seen in my life, but it was good despite the cheese was quite strong. Chorizoburger was smoky/supurb & the desserts have a rich quality of flavors to them. Overall I don't regret checking it out.

Primera vez que vendimos. Comida deliciosa y hecha con mucho cariño. Todo super sabroso , se nota que se ha hecho con amor. Sin duda se ha convertido en mi restaurante favorito ahora mismo. Volveremos seguro y varias veces. El trato del personal ha sido exquisito y el ambiente súper relajado. Les doy la enhorabuena por el pedazo de restaurante que tienen.

Gorgeous interior space, menu consists of tapas, burgers and quesadillas. The main entrées are better than the tapas, which is why I chose this restaurant for dinner. The creme brulée was very delicious!!! I highly recommend

I went with friends and the tapas was delicious and the staff were very attentive. Great atmosphere in here!
Read moreThe only disadvantage was that they had run out of a few items and the dish we got instead (the cauliflower panna cotta) was not our favourite.
Overall I would definitely recommend! I loved the overall vibe of this place. The patatas bravas was delicious!

Wonderful place with delicious options. My husband noted that the menu was one of the most well designed menus he'd seen in a long time. The chef/owner definitely know their vegan food and their customer. Truly great options with something for everyone. Aside from traditional dishes like pan con tomate or potatoes bravas served with a flavor twist, there are quesadillas or mini burgers with multiple fillings, among many other tasty dishes.

Exceptional staff. The restaurant is in a historic construction- the art nouveau designs along the walls and even the floors are protected by the city. Food: nothing terribly inventive. Very nice presentation. Suggested to order two tapas dishes and one quesadilla dish or burger (for two people). If they had some more exciting menu items, I’d give it 5 stars!

We visited this place around midday and we were very impressed by how lovely the interior is. The place feels much fancier than most of the other vegan establishments, and this is reflected in the price. We enjoyed the patatas bravas (delicious), the burger trio (nice salad but not very impressed with the burgers) and the dips with crudités (nothing special, would've liked more bread as only got 2 finger sized pieces each). The staff were lovely but the food wasn't really anything to shout about. Perfect for drinks and a snack and I would go back if I was in the area, but wouldn't make an effort to get there.

I had a chorizo burger which tasted very much like chorizo. I also asked for an iced latte and they made me one even tho it’s not on the menu (yet..?)
The place is nice and aesthetic, not as run down as many of the older places in Barcelona.
The servers were generally very friendly but seemed a little stressed and we had to wait a little before they were ready to take our order - we didn’t mind waiting and we had a great experience. Definitely a must visit for vegans in Barcelona!

The restaurant is super pretty and fancy looking but only has a small amount of seats and it’s therefore better to make a reservation. The only place available without reservation was at the bar - which we didn’t mind. The food and drinks were super yummy. We chose quesadillas and the gazpacho. The quesadillas were really good but would be a bit better with more veggies inside hence it was very fatty and cheesy.

We had a great food experiences there. They have a lot of different dishes, which was hard to choose from;) Finally we had the chorizo burger and the quesadilla to share. I had the potato salad for starter abd I didn't really like it. But still 5/5!:)

Such high quality vegan food, almost fine dining vibes. We had a few things to share between us, including the artichoke flowers, mini sliders and patatas bravas - all SO nice. We had the chocolate dessert too which was also amazing. Velada is a really gorgeous venue, and we love what they're doing with for the vegan community with such well thought out dishes.

A lucky find in the Barrio Gotico - Edit
To be honest we stumbled over Velada by lucky coincidence while strolling aimlessly through Barcelonas Barrio Gotico. As the friendly service team informed us they had opened just two or three weeks earlier - a fact that you would not have guessed by just looking at quite a lot of guests present for a late lunch that day.

We went there and didn’t know what to Exocet Aa was the closes place opened at 3pm. We ate very well, the service was excellent with many options to chose from. The mini burgers are excellent as well as the brochettes!

Lovely higher-end vegan experience - Edit
Just went for tapas and drinks and we were really impressed, had the Russian salad (because we are Latvian and were really interested in the local version), artichokes and heura skewers. Everything was delicious, some interesting and unexpected taste combos. Service was lovely as well. And sangria made with local brut sparkling wine was also great, as we don't usually like drinks that are too sweet. I would definitely return again to check out the main dishes as well, the whole menu sounded amazing.
