食物美味,但整體服務待加強

食物蠻好吃的,但外場服務員對維持客戶餐桌整潔似乎沒訓練過。既然是米其林指南推薦,這點建議需改進。

Pros: 食物美味

Cons: 服務生沒有維持餐桌整潔概念

Delicious

Saw this place on happycow, read the reviews, and decided to give it a go. Been back a couple of times, ordering different things to try, including dishes with tofu and vegetables and mushrooms plus a couple of spicy ones as well. Everything we tried was flavorful and yummy. Not cheap but worth it!

Traditionally well done

Rate is 3.5
Service is above average and attentive. Good seating area, credit card acceptance, though no wifi. Food quality is consistent good, in anything you order. Expect good not exceptional. The food is traditionally inspired. For the brave one, there is one dish that needs 3 days to mature (this tastes really bitter and sour and not for first timers). Price is way too high compared with what's offered, thus, a 3.5 would be more accurate.

Pros: Traditional food, Quality consistently well done , Service is quick and attentive

Cons: Patato slightly undercooked / curry too spicy , Traditional food (look at the menu before you go)

Tasty, healthy food in pleasant restaurant

Good food, all plant based. Spicy but not too much so, interesting menu with good range. It's clearly popular as was busy on a Monday night. I ate alone on a work trip and it was fine for one and would be even better to share dishes. There's no alcohol, which is not unusual for Singapore but most restaurants in this price range and area do serve beer and wine.

Pros: great food and nice restaurant environment , very interesting menu

Cons: potential con is no alcohol

This was the most expensive of the vegan restaurants I visited while in Singapore, but also had the best food. They transformed mushrooms into an approximation of a mutton rendang. It was so good it impressed my carnivorous dining companion, who had been sampling his favorite dish at the city's hawker centers. I also enjoyed a dish combining oats, tofu, and curry leaves, which reminded me of chaat (north Indian street food).

Overpriced

I don’t understand the good reviews. I had the beans with Tempeh and brown rice. They subbed the sauce of the dish with something else because the original wasn’t available....the dish tasted like greasy beans thrown in a bowl of salt. For one small plate, rice and a glass of water I payed 14 € (22 SGD). Most expensive and worst food I ever had. Wouldn’t have eaten it if I hadn’t been eating all day and was already starving and it wasn’t the only open restaurant in the area I stayed.

Super delicious

Food is simply amazing, we tried the crispy tempeh, monkey head mushrooms, tofu in oats and eggplants and everything was delicous. The only thing I didn't understand is why they don't make their own juices ,instead offering them in cans and plastic bottles.

Pros: food quality, wide menu selection

Amazing Penang Rendang

I went here with 3 non-veg and we were all impressed with the quality of the food. The Penang Rendang tasted so much like beef that I found myself checking to be sure. Two cons. I asked the waiter about vegan options and he pointed out 3 or 4 dishes on the whole menu. The manager was walking by and overheard the conversation. Then she tells me that everything on the menu is vegan except for one dish with honey and an ice cream dessert. Not a huge deal, but that made me think twice about the food since butter is one of those ingredients that seems to find it’s way into a lot of “vegan” food. The other con is their inability to split checks. Other than that I’d say the food is good. It is pricey but I’d say it’s a nice place to go for the occasional splurge.

Excellent food but pricey

Treated my mum to lunch and staff did not submit our order correctly via the tablet and we waited for more than 30 minutes for nothing. It would have been a higher rating due to the excellent food but with the insincerity in the apology, it really spoiled the experience, worsened by the unexpected $93 bill (10% service charge + 7% GST). With price more expensive than some 5 star hotels, you've got to deliver better service than this!

Good variety, very tasty food

Whole Earth offers a great variety of vegetarian food very well prepared and tasteful. If you are in Singapore totally worthy visiting even if you are not a vegetarian.
Simple dinning salon, strong air conditioning and good service.

Pros: Tasty food, Menu Variety

Food is good

The food here is good. However the price is way too expensive for the portion and taste. Not a match in terms of value. I won't return unless my friends or family choose this as a gathering venue.

Great food

It's the only nice comfortable vegetarian place around Tanjong Pagar. I bring clients there often. The food is great, especially the rendang. Your meat eating friends would find it hard to believe that's it's not meat.

Pros: Big selection, great food.

Cons: One pax can easily cost $20.

the fake meat was tasty

My friend took me here when i was visiting Singapore. I usually eat pure plant based foods that don't 'pretend' to be meat but this place has lots of 'fake meat'. It was quite nice for a change but the honey 'chicken' i ordered wasn't really a full meal, it needed greens & sides to complement it but it was already quite pricey. i would recommend this place if you feel like eating fake meat. I enjoyed it for a change but wouldn't go back because I prefer full plant based meals with greens, eg salads & stir frys.

Pros: big menu

Cons: fake meat dishes require additional sides

A taste sensation

We dined here twice during our recent stay and on both occasions it was superb. Whole Earth is really easy to get to and is located right next to Tanjong Pagar mrt. The food is simply stunning and presented beautifully. The food although expensive is well worth it as you will experience some excellent fine dining with their creative and authentic menu. On our first visit we ordered the nonya curry ($20.90) and the spicy kong po monkeyhead mushrooms ($20.90). The texture of the monkeyhead mushrooms was like eating 'real meat', they are so chewy and coupled with the excellent spicy kong po sauce, this made for a delicious dining experience. The nonja curry was also very flavoursome and fresh with a great depth of spices. The brown rice added an extra wholesome texture too. On our second visit, I decided to try the nutty buah keluak ($20.90) and my wife got the sweet and sour delight ($16.90) with a sambal oyster mushroom to share ($17.90). I had been warned that people either love or hate the nutty buah keluak due its sour taste but thankfully I loved it and was so glad I got the chance to experience this authentic dish. The sweet and sour delight was delicious, as was the sambal oyster mushroom side, both bursting with flavour. For dessert we decided to get the papaya snow fungus and shaved almonds dessert ($6) and pear and aloe vera dessert ($6), which were so refreshing. In total we spent about $150 over the two visits. If I did have a criticism it was that the menu didn't state if the dishes were vegan friendly but the staff were helpful and were able to check with the chef. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. You won't be disappointed.

Pros: Fantastic food, Vegan options, Creative and authentic menu

Cons: Expensive (but well worth it), vegan options could be labelled

Good food but expensive

I went to The Whole Eart a few times because it is conveniently located near Thiong Baru MRT station. The food is good but is pricey. Also I find the noise level too high becasue there is no decoration at all to absorb the noise. It feels a little like being in a empty factory warehouse.
