    Instructions

    For the crust:
    Mix all dry ingredients very well until crumbly, then add water.
    Divide in a large piece for crust and a smaller for cover and just follow the usual baking steps to roll out the pie and top
    Pre-bake pie bottom.
    For the filling:
    Saute apples in margarine until soft, add cinnamon and salt and stir until blended.
    Sprinkle sugar, add water and cornstarch, stirring until it thickens.
    Pour filling into pre-baked pie crust.
    Cover with the pie dough you saved for the top (you can pre-cut shapes as I did in the picture)
    Bake until top is golden and enjoy.

    2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
    220 gram vegan margarine
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1/2 cup cold water

    For the filling:
    3 apples, thinly sliced
    9 tablespoons brown sugar or sugar of choice
    1 tablespoon vegan margarine
    1 full tablespoon cinnamon
    3/4 cup water
    1 tablespoon cornstarch
    1/2 teaspoon salt
