Bakery

Vegan bakery from Alexis Gauthier. Alongside pastries, croissants, and house-made breads from Gauthier Soho, there are sourdough and focaccia sandwiches at lunch as well as a bottomless salad. Also has some food from the original 123V which includes vegan sushi (also available to take away). Open Mon-Fri 08:30-16:00.

123V

Decent pastries if you’re looking for lunch or a quick bite. It's not really special or memorable, but it does the job. The place is also quite big with indoor and outdoor seating.

Just Okay?

All vegan selection of sandwiches, pastries, coffee/tea. I found the food to just be okay. The waiter was spacey - took a long time to fill my order and forgot my beverage without apology. This definitely influenced my experience.

Another Gauthier win

Everything Alexis Gauthier touches is bound to be a culinary delight. Popped in for pastries and coffee, but nabbed some faux crab sushi as well. Coffee could've been better, but my custard danish and sushi were divine. They also have a self-serve salad bar brimming with fresh ingredients. The space itself is beautiful and well-lit with vibrant coloured decor. I'd love to have seen some classic café breakfast options like pancakes, avo toast, etc.

Great find

We only went for pastries and coffee, but it was a decent find. We'd spent ages trying to find vegan pastries and came across 123V Bakery. We're so glad we did. Friendly and quick service and tasty croissant, pain au chocolat and custard Danish. The coffee wasn't the best, and limits this review to 4*.

Also, I love the ethical stance on the sandwich board and promotions at 123V - Vegan for the animals! Yes, absolutely!

If you're in central London we totally recommend this place.

Good croissants and pastries

All vegan croissants and pastries, not really any other breakfast options. Place is best for lunch or a 10'o clock bite.

Not up to my expectations

I love the other restaurants from the same chef (Gauthier Soho and 123v). I hate to give bad scores to vegan restaurants, but this one was a disappointment.

The food was good, but quite overpriced as the sandwiches are rather small. There were 2 other problems when I went there.

1/ There was only one waiter for the service of the main restaurant (Studio Gauthier) and for taking orders at the bakery. As a result, I had to wait quite a long time to order.

2/ They have a lunch offer for £14 (one sandwich or salad, 1 hot drink or soft drink, 1 dessert) which is literally theft. Pay close attention to the prices of the items you choose because in several cases it will cost you more money to take the lunch offer than to pay for the items separately. However, if you take the most expensive items, then the lunch offer is worth it. I took a breakfast sandwich, a chai latte and a pain au chocolat. I did not look at the prices when ordering, and I chose a lunch offer. I realised afterwards that those 3 items bought without the lunch offer would have only cost me £11...

Great sushi

Went there for lunch with some friends, we had the bottomless sushi.
Has been an amazing experience, great service, great location and...absolutely amazing food!
I haven't had sushi for long time and this vegan sushi was better than any I can remember!
Creative options, explosion of flavours in the mouth and beautiful presentation!

123V Bakery

My partner and I love the brioche from 123V so much and pop by often to collect some for special occasions. For example, it was definitely our biscuit (American savory) option we served at Thanksgiving recently! Absolutely love the brioche.

Good Pastries

Cool place with a small selection of vegan baked goods. I tried the croissant, the pain au chocolat and the carrot cake. All of them were excellent.

Meh sushi, handsome staff.

Tastes like good quality supermarket sushi, but costs as much as premium fresh made sushi. Isn't fresh, they take the sushi out of trays, it tastes like it was made in the morning, which it probably was. The sizes of the sets are ok and it tastes decent, but not what I'd expect from a 28 GBP set.

Pros: The waiter was cute, They have nice beer

Cons: Too pricey for supermarket sushi, Not fresh, Nothing special

Limited options

For a vegan bakery, this place could offer more but I really is an add on to the restaurant space. Options were sandwiches and some pastries. I only really fancied the look of the micro mince pie, it was tasty though, coffee was okay, member of staff that served me was off hand.

Not enough options for a vegan place

Idk when or where this photos were taken, but I went there last week during lunch time and there was only a few choices available. Me and my friend ordered sandwiches, which were SUPER oily, and some sweets (the only 2 options available), which were just OK. I would not return.

Pros: Gute Auswahl

All new vegan bakery by Michelin starred chef

Alexis Gauthier has opened a vegan bakery and lunch place here. There are croissant, pain aux raisin, madeleines, etc. Everything was delicious that I tried. I wish they were open at the weekend!

Pros: French vegan pastries, Gorgeous setting inside and out , Central London location

Cons: Not open on the weekend I think, Needless icing on pain aux raisins

Must go!

Inside a shared space with Studio Gauthier this cute coffee shop and bakery has delicious treats. We sat down and ate a few treats and then wound up ordering some more to go bc they were so good! They had croissants, muffins, cookies, pain au chocolat, custard danishes, cinnamon rolls and more. They also had focaccia bread sandwiches and a small salad bar.

Pros: Reasonably priced , All vegan! , Friendly staff

Quick snack or breakfast

I had a bun with cottage cheese which was actually the best vegan cheese I have ever had. They also have a variety of focaccia’s that can be warmed up. They also had coffee and a salad buffet. All of the food was great and fast. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options which is ideal for this weather.

Pros: Lots of options , Quick , Nice setting

Magnifique

High standards, reasonable prices and a warm welcome await at this new Gauthier venture. Savouries are available at lunchtime but I've only put the morning baked goods through their paces so far - all excellent with the cinnamon roll especially artful in its buttery, caramelised, layered flakiness (and apparently to be enlarged!). Hoping almond croissants will be added to the repertoire 🤞

Excited to try the rest of the menu, not to mention the bistro that will share the space, opening in July.
