Unique Mexican Place

Tried looked for a few places with ether no vegan option anymore or they weren’t open on the holiday weekend that I was there for but found this one.

Has seating but super very limited. I first went there and asked if they had a vegan option. The waiter directed me to the menu which I was a little oblivious to. My bad. Menu has items that have a vegan option clearly labeled.

When I ordered, they were asking me if it’s okay for an extra charge to put them in packaging to go. I asked to sit instead, they insisted that I purchase a drink. Picked a tequila shot and they were okay with it. They let me sit after I payed. My drink came super quickly. Sorry I didn’t get a picture of that but it came with a spiced salt and lime. I just took the shot.

After that I ordered a Jack & Coke (Jack & Soda you have to say). Sorry I didn’t get a picture of that drink ether but was okay. Little later, my food came out and I didn’t realize, I thought it was vegan cheese and vegan sour cream. The waiter asked if it was okay, it took me a little while to realize what he was talking about, and replied no. They took it back and remade it.

When it finally came back again, it looked better.

I got the vegan chimichanga. They also have hot sauces at the bar. From Tabasco to a nice habanero hot sauce. Used that habanero sauce. Was a bit odd using chopsticks for the chimichanga but it worked well since they slice them. Very flavorful and everything mixed well. The habanero sauce added another level since I love spicy.

I personally thanked the waiter at the end because they realized that my meal first came in as not being vegan and they fixed it for me. I did feel bad that they wasted food but I appreciate what everyone did. All the staff were super nice considering I’m not from Japan and I highly recommend this place.

Pros: Vegan options, Clearly labeled vegan

Cons: Not much seating , Solo goers, you might have to buy a drink
