The food was overall very nice. There were some interesting options in terms of meat replacements.
Read moreSadly, I received my main dish a long time after the bowls. My partner was already done eating way before I got my dish. Music was a bit loud.
Overall - would recommend, maybe try it when the restaurant is a bit less busy.

I really like the idea of smaller plates that can be shared with others, so you can try a lot more dishes. The food itself was exquisite. Despite being fully booked, we got a table quickly (you can't reserve for a smaller group), the food came quickly and the service was very friendly.

Had a lovely meal here with my family, dining in a group meant we had a chance to try lots of the small dishes and they went down really well with everyone (even the veg-sceptics). Staff were friendly and we managed to get a table within 10 minutes, despite quite a crowd queuing outside. €140 for six including drinks. Would definitely come here again. #Veganuary

Wir waren an einem Montag Abend da. Das Restaurant war gut gefüllt, aber wie haben schnell einen Platz und auch schnell unser Essen bekommen. Wir hatten 6 Bowls für 2 Leute und es hat so lecker geschmeckt. Vor allem die Erbsen Seiten Balls mit Prinzessbohnen waren unglaublich gut!

Read moreAt "1990 Vegan Living" I made the same mistake once again. I ordered the "Yogi Bowl", which contains of marinated tofu, rice noodles and vegetables (mostly bell peppers). There's nothing wrong with that, but it wasn't anything special either. Even my "green tea from Vietnam" was nothing special.
Around me groups and couples where ordering many small dishes, no mains. And that's how "1990 Vegan Living" can show off. All these small dishes order a wide variety in taste and show the chef's skills.
And it's because of these smaller dishes that this restaurant is so popular. I visited on a Saturday, around 5 pm. By choosing that time I expected to beat the crowd, but no such luck. The place was packed, very busy and very loud (music / chatter). There was even a line forming outside! Yet, when a table was available the waitress managed to give each guest some personal attention (quick, but well meant) and my food arrived quickly. No wonder this restaurant is a popular choice!

When we figured out the best small bowls on the menu, it was perfect (some things are better than others). They gladly serve spicy sauce to make the food have a bit more punch. The coconut cocktails are absolutely fantastic!

We shared a few small dishes and they tasted all amazing. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is good. The food came fast, so you don't sit here for hours. The food is cheap, we paid in total 28 euros for diner for 2 persons.
