Best Dan Dan Mian noodles in town

Excellent full flavored noodles, friendly and accommodating staff and a good spot in the city, just off the busy Götgatan road. Extra points for offering adult bibs for business people having sloppy noodles for lunch.

Noodles noodles noodles

An Asian fusion restaurant with noodles is not something that I say no to. It existed both ramen and stir-fried noodles with vegan option. I choice stir-fried that tasted amazing. I also asked for them a bit more spicy which I also got. Overall a good place for noodles

Nice noodle bar near Medborgplatsen

I was trying to get a table at the Vietnamese restaurant Nem Ben further down the street, but it was fully booked. I was very happy to stumble across this very nice Chinese noodle bar on the same street as a second choice!

It's a cute place tucked away on the corner, with some outdoor and upstairs seating. The interior is cosy, feeling like a mix of Scandinavian and Chinese styles. Here they do hand pulled noodles, styled in all ways. Ramen, pho, fried noodles... and many vegan options!

There is a focus on Szechuan cuisine here, so to start we got the Szechuan "strimlad pototoes" or string potatoes. These are a favourite dish of mine, and here they were very good. For the main, I got the Dan Dan Mian noodles, which were really good. The szechuan flavour is just spicy enough, not overly spicy. Really good. It also came with spring rolls which were good! Then we also got some vegan dumplings which were very nice as well.

I would absolutely recommend this place for vegans, and honestly I was quite surprised that it wasn't already listed on happy cow since there are so many vegan options. It's not so expensive either, with starters being around 50 SEK and mains around 130 SEK. A great option for ramen on Södermalm, check it out!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Quite cheap!!, Cosy interior
