Beautiful Food in Beautiful Condesa - Edit

I had the BEST vegan omelette ever with asparagus and vegan cheese at this sweet restaurant located on a leafy residential street. We took advantage of the idyllic weather and brunched at one of Alguito’s several outdoor tables. There is more seating inside. The dirty chai was delicious and my friend’s tofu scramble came with a cloth basket of freshly made tortillas. We shared a half order of fruit. Everything was tasty and artfully presented. The waitstaff were very friendly.
Overall a fantastic food experience.

Carísimo (overpriced) - Edit

Se ve que este lugar es para extranjeros ya que los precios están altísimos. Un burrito básico $280, unas enchiladas $350 pesos. Un jugo tamaño miniatura en $60 pesos, dos tacos $170 pesos. Las porciones son más pequeñas de lo normal, me pusieron UN totopo partido en pedazos en la cucharada de frijoles que me pusieron. No vuelvo.

Overpriced, made for tourists. Small portions.

Yummy good, but American prices - Edit

The food at Alguito Vegano was top notch. The attention was also great. That being said, the prices were what we would have paid in Miami, FL. Wouldn’t go back because the portions were also not proportional to those prices.

Delicious family owned business. - Edit

Fantastic small family-run business. You can truly feel the love they put into everything. We had four tacos that were absolutely amazing! I highly recommend the pastor and the milanesa. We also had a torta, which was the best I’ve ever had. We even ordered hot dogs, and the presentation was incredible—something you wouldn't typically expect with hot dogs! They brought out three tiny squirt bottles of mayo, ketchup, and mustard, and I couldn't get over how cute they were! Photo attached.

Honestly, the food was some of the best I’ve had anywhere and really stands out here in Mexico City, especially with its vibrant vegan food scene. This is a family-owned restaurant, and they truly deserve all the support to keep this going! It’s located on a quiet street in Condesa with lovely outdoor seating. Go check it out! #Veganuary

Super delicious breakfast in Condesa - Edit

Very friendly spot, open early for breakfast and stays open all day for lunch and dinner too. The chilaquiles with Mexican tofu was out of this world. The sweet potato pancakes and perfectly sweet and savory. #Veganuary

Great Vegan Food - Edit

Breakfast for four, and then we took food for a late lunch. My hot chocolate would have been better with more cocoa and the bottom hot cake was burnt, but everything else was wonderful. The late lunch food was great! Between breakfast and lunch we had multiple types of tacos, enchiladas, hot cakes, fruit and more. Service was very friendly but the food was slow to come. The restaurant is really vegan but they fail to change the designation on Happy Cow.

Great Food, bit of a rushed Experience - Edit

The food is great, even though it’s a bit on the pricier side. One thing we noticed was that the staff kind of rushed us both times we went there. Right after I ate the last bite of my food, the server already took my plate and wiped half the table while my friend was still eating. Once she finished, the server took her plate and wiped the whole table while she was still finishing her drink.

me molestan los restaurantes que utilizan el argumento de que solo por utilizar productos orgánicos es justificación para precios irracionales.

Me pasó lo mismo. Se ve que es un lugar hecho para turistas y no locales. En Google todas sus buenas reseñas están en inglés 🙄

Nice staff and atmosphere. We got a burrito and enchiladas rojo both with tofu. Enchilada was much more flavourful than the burrito

Excellent for breakfast! - Edit

Had the hot cakes, breakfast burrito and Chilaquiles con tofu a la mexicana. All were excellent! Service was on the slower side so eat here when you have time.

Literalmente "Alguito" - Edit

Las porciones son raquíticas, y todos los precios son caros. Yo pedí unos huevos tofu a la mexicana, que el plato costaba 168 pesos mexicanos, y era un plato extendido pequeño con un espejo de tofu, y frijoles y unos micrototopos.
Les comparto el menú para que vean los precios, realmente lo que pedí era de lo más barato.

En la carta, convenientemente no muestran fotos de los platillos.
Todo lo que pedí estaba mega desabrido, sin sal y ya saben, la salsa más picosa, no pica.
La leche dorada, 85 pesos y la leche te la cobran aparte! 20 pesos más, y en sí ni sabía a leche dorada.
Muy amables, pero no volvería, no tienen buen sazón, ni vale la pena lo que cobran por lo que dan.
