Good but limited options

The vegan scone I had was very very good, but they don’t have much other than that. A good place to meet non-veg friends for a cup of tea and a treat.

eat me, drink me

i love love love alice's tea cup! i grew up going to afternoon tea and christmas high tea, and it is amazing that i can still go! there are other high tea services in the city that have vegan menus, but none nearly as affordable as alice's. not to mention when you step in here, you are transported to a magical, whimsical world! through the looking glass, straight to the mad hatter's tea party!

lacking but cute

If you’re interested in fresh tea and vegan scones with raspberry preserves, or a warm lentil salad paired with an iced tea, then you’re good to go. I like their soups but other basic opts include their overpriced porridge or a hummus sandwich.

Pros: aesthetic

Cons: little vegan opts

Great tea, limited vegan options

This is one of my favorite places to meet people for tea. They have a great selection of teas, and it is a comfortable place to chat with friends; small children love this place, too.
They have a menu of things to eat, too. This includes a bunch of fine items that are non-meat (such as eggs), and one or two vegan items (such as a salad or hummus). It is not really a vegetarian restaurant, however, and certainly not vegan-oriented. They do offer some nice vegan scones, however, so if you want superb tea and a vegan scone, this could be a great place to go to. And if you want to eat a small vegan meal as well, there will be something for you, too, though your choices will be even more restricted.
If this were a "HappyTea" site, I would have given this place five tea leaves. Based on HappyCow criteria, it fares a bit less well.

Pros: Great tea, offer vegan scones, Nice place to meet friends, good service, Some (limited) vegetarian/vegan choices

Cons: Not really vegetarian-oriented, Even fewer vegan choices
