Great veg menu - Edit
Beautiful restaurant, in a strip mall! Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, clearly marked on the menu. Our food was delicious! Very spicy but can request from 1-5 spiciness.

Spice! - Edit
Very happy to find Amiraj. Delicious food, non vegan husband and I shared Tarka Dahl, Mushrooms and asparagus, rice and a roti. We were asked our spice level, we chose 3 which was pretty spicy but very tasty.

Surprisingly fancy - Edit
Walking into Amiraj makes you feel like you’re no longer in a strip mall, it’s beautifully decorated. I had the northie mushroom dish, which was amazing. It consisted of a creamy coconut based sauce with mushrooms and asparagus, and honestly it’s one of the best Indian dishes I’ve ever had. If I hadn’t been full after that I might’ve tried one of the 3 vegan cake options for dessert. Another plus is the vegan and vegetarian dishes (all clearly labeled) are a bit cheaper than the rest of the menu (currently they are around $18).

Vegan + Indian = Amiraj - Edit
Resturant rebranded. It's now: Amiraj ~ Modern Indian Kitchen. Elegant modern atmosphere. The menu has tons of clearly labeled vegan options, vegan dessert, and vegan wines. Plus the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Loved it - Edit
We went for the buffet on Sunday (12-2). At least half of the entrees are veg/vegan, so we had plenty to eat. The food was authentic Indian food and we would highly recommend if ur in the area.

I’ve gone a few times and the food is always AMAZING. By far one of my favorite Indian spots in the area. Upscale without totally upscale prices and great service

Excellent dining option in Williamsburg - Edit
Thanks to HappyCow, we found this wonderful Indian restaurant for dinner late Sunday evening. Unlike the Indian restaurants back home, Nawab clearly marks which items are vegan. Our family had 4 different entrees, an appetizer, and bread: all were vegan and all were delicious.

Lovely! - Edit
One of the nicest Indian restaurants we've dined in. Vegan items clearly indicated on the menu and they were happy to serve dishes that weren't listed; eg. aloo gobi.
