Delicious food and amazing selection. Loved everything I got and the desserts were delicious. I’d go back again. Plentiful seating and really nice atmosphere.

Very good food, but know what to expect. - Edit
Annapurna's is a lovely restaurant, but anyone going there should understand what it is like. The restaurant's philosophy treats food as spiritual as well as physical nourishment. As a result, some items may be different from what you expect. Pizza (not vegan) is made on chapati or dosa and topped with cheddar cheese. Sandwiches are wrapped in a chapati or dosa.
Read moreThe food tastes great. Staff is pleasant. While it is in a strip mall, the inside is open and airy. The entire menu is vegetarian, most is vegan, and almost everything can be made gluten free.
The masala fries that came with their variation on the BLT was the highlight, but everything was good.

Awesome selection! - Edit
Wonderful, primarily vegan restaurant! I loved the cardamom pancakes for breakfast and the breakfast scramble was tasty, too. I also enjoyed the South Indian Sampler— I actually had two meals from it! The samosa was perfect. I did try the coconut and the pecan pies. They were tasty but quite different from the kind I remember from childhood. The cardamom cookies were the best!

Go-to happy place for this vegan traveler - Edit
During my 5-day visit to Santa Fe, I was ecstatic to find this unique restaurant with such an extensive vegan / vegetarian menu. I had four meals there, from breakfast to lunch and dinner, and was only disappointed by one cup of soup (the broccoli-almond soup), otherwise loved the Indian dishes, dosas, samosas, tofu scramble, oat-milk chai and more. Loved the vibe and the people. Looked up the Hindu goddess Annapurna too and felt extremely happy to be an atheist contemplating the possibility of being nourished by this deity in the form of such good, delicious food. Highly recommended. If I lived in Santa Fe, I would be a regular!!

Decent Place To Eat - Edit
We had really high hopes for this restaurant with its extensive menu and gluten-free and plant-based options. Our meal was ok but not wonderful. Staff members were friendly enough but not particularly attentive when we first came in and didn't know that we had to order at the counter. The kitchari was truly delicious but the rest of our meal was just ok.
Read moreSince we rarely order fries, we were excited to try their homemade fries. We were disappointed that they were soggy. Additionally, the dining room had an air of neglect with poorly attended plants throughout.
This restaurant is ok and will definitely provide a decent meal out if you are looking for plant-based food. We would just not make this a regular stop if we lived in town.

Had Poori-bhaji and some desserts (Apple cranberry pie, coconut pie and scones) -All of them yummy - the scones were a bit on the dry side but tasty and goes along very well with a cup of tea/coffee. Would definitely go again if in the same area

EAT HERE! - Edit
This place is awesome. It’s tucked in an anonymous strip mall but it has some of the best vegan food around. Global vibe and menus with lots of vegan options, many teas, vegan baked goods, and even a vegan mango lassi. Also allergens are clearly marked on many of the baked goods.

Outstanding Ayurvedic Food - Edit
I ordered the South Indian Sampler and a mango lassi. Delicious and to top it off the decor is flooded with beautiful, spiritual pictures of deities. I’m looking forward to trying their locations in Albuquerque when I come back to NM.

Vegan Oasis in Santa Fe - Edit
Annapurna has an extensive menu and serves generous portions. Everything on the menu is vegetarian and can easily be made vegan with elimination of or substitution of regular cheese for vegan cheese. Their daily specials are delicious, although the same specials were listed every day for the week we were there. The veggie burger is very flavorful with curry spices, but unfortunately the chipotle spread on the bun completely overpowered the curry flavors. The burger patty was soft and required knife/fork eating, not sandwich style. The soup and salad combo was good: the sambhar was very delicious and the accompanying salad was generous and colorful. The lemongrass dressing just tasted like oil, but the ranch dressing was very good. The mediterranean platter was delicious as was the greens and beets salad. Excellent selection of teas.
Read moreThe desserts were nicely labeled with allergenic ingredients, but we didn't enjoy the ones we chose. We tried a cupcake that was like a sawdust cake with a smear of thin icing. The date laddu was good but the apricot laddu was so stiff and tough it was impossible to eat.
Pros: Extensive vegan menu, Delicious flavors and fresh ingredients, Great teas
Cons: Sweets were not good

Chill cafe, large menu, great food! - Edit
The cafe is very relaxing and their large menu has many great hits. They also have a great almost all vegan bakery counter, and a huge selection of loose teas. We had some thali and dosas along with dal and roti. Our only wish is that things that should come with the meal, like sliced onions, are not extra $.

I loved this place. We went for dinner the two nights we were in Santa Fe.
Read moreThe menu has a great variety and they serve breakfast all day long.
Ayurvedic food, vegan and vegetarian options.
I had the vegan Shepard's pie the first time and the vegetarian scramble (with tofu).
The Oat milk chai tea is awesome too and you get a refill.
There were many desserts (fully vegan) but some of them were not really tasty.
My favorite was the carrot muffin and the apple-cranberries pie.
Scones not recommended.
Pros: Excellent food, Good price, Variety in menu and fast service
Cons: Some desserts are not really tasty

Just so good - Edit
Have been coming here for many years on trips to NM. Recently brought a non veg friend and she marveled at how the thali was like soul food. I also loved my vegan mango lassi. The chocolate chip cookies were not great but we let it slide. All in all— delish!!

Bland - Edit
Nice selection. Grateful they have vegan gluten free options. When I eat Indian food, I expect flavor explosion, BUT our dishes were just meh. Dosas and daal bland. Sambar was just bad. It should have been a warning that there were no Indian folks working or eating in the Indian restaurant.

Wow, our meal from Annapurna's was delicious. We mainly ordered Indian dishes, they were all really well done with a good balance of flavors. We also got some of the vegan cookies, supposedly for breakfast the next day but instead we ate them all after dinner.

What am I missing?? - Edit
With so many good reviews, I feel like maybe we just ordered all together wrong. My husband had in his words, "the greasiest fries ever." - and that's saying a lot because he's always eating fries. He also had the portobello mushroom burger and said it was just okay, but it fell apart really easily.
Read moreI had the beet soup which was tasteless and just not good (and I'll eat just about anything that I know is good for me - had to throw out!) The cauliflower tacos were also, just okay. Totally disappointed because I rarely go out and have always had really good experiences when I choose a vegan type restaurant.
On the plus side, the pecan pie was good.
Sorry, I know they're trying, and I always feel good about supporting such restaurants, but not this time. Not sure what everyone else ordered, or if it was just an off day :(
Pros: Pecan pie was good
Cons: Greasiest fries ever, Bland food, beet soup that was just awful....
