Variety and a great patio - Edit
I love the Malaysian Stir Fry and you can get it with a coconut curry sauce and either noodles or brown or white rice. They always have a couple specials and have loads of menu items for all tastes from veggie burgers and masala fries to breakfast burritos and green chile. There's have good salads including a warm Quinoa salad. They also have the best outdoor patio space for Covid era. Their Indian food can be a little bland, since it's Ayurvedic and could just use more salt, but the more Cosmopolitan part of their menu is good. I also like that you can get a dosa instead of some boring whilte bread with your meal. Everything seems to be handmade; their fries are by far the best in Santa Fe hands down and come with homemade catsup or some other sauce of your choice. I with they would fix the ambiance a tad. Get rid of the t.v. monitor that displays the menu and replace it with a simple chalk board for example. Also they could cook the veggie sides a little less. They definitely deserve 5 stars though. Grateful to have Annapurna in Santa Fe.

Shane, thank you for dining with us and the five-star review. So glad you enjoyed our menu selections. We use a digital interface to reflect specials, veggies, and soups of the day so we are able to provide this information to everyone via the website. This way we can easily offer those items for online ordering via doordash and selflane. While a chalkboard might be more visually appealing it does lack this level of functionality.

So Yummy - Edit
Had the cauliflower tacos on dosa without any kind of cheese and they were delicious! The cilantro lime sauce is one of my favorite things here. The side of black beans was not my favorite but the portion was great. They were too spicy for me but I'm sure other folks can enjoy them. The lemon ginger drink is always fresh and always delicious and complemented the tacos so well. :)

It’s decent - Edit
I ordered via DoorDash because they are now allowing dining inside - order was incorrect and missing some side items. The food we did get was okay... but missing random things like the lettuce on the burger, or the cheese on the cheese fries. Probably won’t go back.

Michelle, I'm sorry your DoorDash order had missing items. Based on your review it appears that you ordered our Veggie Burger and Chile Cheese Fries and you are correct the veggie burger should have had lettuce on it and the certainly the Chile Cheese Fries should have had whatever cheese you chose whenever ordering the Chile Cheese Fries. My apologies, if you ever have an issue please call the location you ordered from or email us at info@chaishoppe.com.

Ordered off the menu - Edit
I ordered the Falafel, but they only have a wrap, so I asked if they could make a sandwich
Read morethey agreed and attempted to make one for me but it was not too great.
I would NOT agree to their suggestion of cheese again on a falafel sandwich again
overall the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly. I like that you can see into the kitchen too
the fries were good, but the watery 'garlic sauce' will be a pass in the future
Looking forward to trying more of their menu when I am in the area
Pros: great to have an option in Northern New Mexico, Big Menu, Entirely Vegan
Cons: I don't live closer, Parking is in the shared lot, might be crowded

Best Pad Thai I've ever had. - Edit
Ordered the Green Plate, which changes regularly but is always vegan/gf. On this day it was Pad Thai and the homemade sauce was one of the most incredible things I've ever tasted. There are almost too many options to choose from and I'm certain all of them are delicious. Girlfriend ordered the Mediterranean Plate and we split an order of Chapatis with a veggie of the day inside. So very good and though we got a ton of food we felt great after eating it all!!

Too much choice - Edit
Great restaurant, so many vegan choices on the menu, it took me ages to decide what to have because I didn’t want to miss out on so much. Had the veggie burger with vegan cheese, and extra masala fries. Food was amazing and the fries were awesome, a huge bowl but I was determined to finish then. Really recommend this place, my partner is on I and she loved it too

Lots of options - Edit
My husband and I enjoyed this place. I love having a little bit of everything so the sampler plate was a great option. It came with 3 vegetables of the day, 2 mung bean soups, choice of rice and bread and a dipping sauce. The platter was ok. My husband had the Lebanese wrap and it was amazing. It was filled with eggplant, tomatoes, lettuce, hummus and balsamic drizzle. The masala fries that came with it was awesome.

Vegan options worth it - Edit
I had the cauliflower tacos (SO good) and my partner had the vegan BLT, we loved both, although the bread on the BLT was a little on the dry side. This place seems to be a staple in town for vegetarians and vegans in SF. Friends of ours get their falafel dishes regularly. They serve breakfast dishes also

Hidden Gem in Santa Fe - Edit
What a fabulous little spot full of color, life and a beautiful homage to nutritious, wholesome food. As a vegan, I was incredibly happy and impressed with the vegans. Creativity and taste of traditional dishes was excellent. Feels very homey, friendly and am obsessing over the copper kitchen.

Annapurna's - Edit
My husband and I loved eating at Annapurna's and we visited them all over the city. The food is really delicious with a lot of vegan options and, as a yoga teacher, I appreciated the ayurvedic consciousness and approach to the meals. They felt very balanced and were filling and the desserts were amazing!

Healthy homestyle cooking - Edit
Annapurna is an interesting blend of Indian and New Mexican elements, leaning more to the Indian side, with the exception of the desserts. The result is essentially healthy hippy fusion cuisine, like the green plate “enchiladas” that were filled with squash and potatoes and wrapped in a dosa shell instead of tortillas (not really to my taste, but I’m sure some people would like it). The highlight for me was not so much the taste as the fact that they use only fresh ingredients.

The vegan chocolate zucchini bread was the winner in this restaurant. Samosas and accompanying sauces didn’t satisfy the samosa craving.. flavors fell short. Ask for the spicy chili sauce, it’s a $1.30 up-charge but worth the $. Falafel tacos were pretty good but kind of dry, good size taco though and comes with two.
