Who would’ve thought? - Edit
Who would’ve thought that one can find such delicious vegan baklava in Penang? Run by a super friendly Syrian guy, who’s always in for a conversation. There are six vegan baklava options, and he knows all ingredients by heart. I tried one of each and they’re all delicious and fresh. Flaky pastry, fresh nuts and the best of it all: not overly sweet - just the right amount. 6 pieces were 15RM, which for this country is quite a bit but hey, you pay for quality, the experience of having baklava in Malaysia and often you get a free live lesson from the nice owner! Visit it when you’re around

Delicious vegan baklavas! - Edit
We bought baklavas there a couple of times and they were perfect! Vegan, crunchy and sweet. Ask for the vegan options as there are two types that have chocolate with milk.
