Avoid - Edit
Extremely rude staff, run by a bunch of kids that just want to hang out with each other. Tried going there for lunch. When I walked in first thing they did was say (with an attitude ) that they kitchen was closed even though they were open for several more hours. So I ordered a latte instead, from menu, kid had no idea what I was talking about and then tried to make it which took forever because the kid was like "lol idk how to make this" and then didn't even give me a lid for it. They were super rude to the other people in line too. Never again.

I had the same experience in Sept 2022. Nothing vegan except juice, water, and a fruit cup. Staff was not friendly.

Not for Vegans - Edit
Just visited. Nothing really for vegans. Lots of cheese-based options vegetarians that could work die a vegan if you’re willing to pay for cheese & omit it.

Very limited for vegans - Edit
Fine place for a coffee, but there really aren’t options for vegans. Even the Thai veggie wrap, I’ve learned, has honey in the wrap and the dressing (even when you order it without cheese).

Never heard of Happy Cow! - Edit
When we walked in and asked for their vegan options we got blank stares. We mentioned that we found them on Happy Cow; more blank stares. So we went to Wawa.

Quick with lots of options - Edit
Me and my husband were vacationing for a week and we stopped in. I love the atmosphere, it was a bit noisy but it was breakfast time in a vacation town. All of the staff was managing the flow very well. All the food I saw come out looked great in addition to our meal. We spilt a scramble with coffee but I loved their Vegan and pastries selection

Way too crowded - Edit
The ordering process is way to hectic. Not enough room to form the line and you end up knocking into people all over. Way too crowded and loud to even enjoy eating if you stay. I ordered a chai tea latte with almond milk. It was good but I ordered it iced and it came out warm. They used a chai tea powder so I’m assuming they had to mix the powered with warm water first ??

No-go Vegan Breakfast - Edit
I'm newly vegan and am just learning the ropes. I'm alright with slim pickings when I go out but this place left me hungry. My boyfriend and I figured we would try out breakfast here and this place is messy.. Very loud, very tight, could not walk around without bumping in to at least three people from point A to point B. The food came out relatively fast for me. I ordered oatmeal and the stone grains, after asking the cashier what vegan options were available this hour and was told these were the only two that could be made vegan. After about five minutes I got it and it looked delicious! Although.. It was so bland. I've had bland oatmeal before but it was nothing compared to this. The oats had no flavor either. I'm not one to waste food but I could not eat these things. I had a few bites with the fruit and had to toss it. My boyfriends french toast came out after about ten minutes. He enjoyed his meal but I was left wondering "Is veganism even worth it?" while staring at his plate. Needless to say my meal left me in a terrible mood the rest of the day. We are only in town for two nights so it's not like I can just go home and cook a meal and continue with my day. Maybe lunch would have been better.
Read moreTLDR; Really do NOT suggest this place for vegan breakfasts. Slim pickings unless you like bland oatmeal.
Pros: Fun environment if it wasn't too busy, Nicely located
Cons: Slim pickings for vegans, Loud, Very busy

Hi Rachae! I visited this place almost exactly a year ago today and I couldn't tell you. ): Sorry! I just remember that the cashier told me there were only two vegan options at that point in the day.

Yummy and great location - Edit
Everything is made fresh on site, so even though some of the dishes are vegetarian, not vegan, they will gladly leave the cheese or other non-vegan ingredients off a dish. Everything I had was delicious. Service was a little slow and it is very noisy inside, but there is a decent amount of outdoor seating. I did wish for a little more flavor in my food and the chips were served without any salsa or other dip, but I was just so glad to find a place I could eat right in the colonial area and near the College.

skip it - Edit
As a college and tourist town, it's so surprising to me that Williamsburg does not have better vegan options. I've tried to eat here once, out of pure curiosity and hunger. There was not one vegan option- maybe a wrap made with honey if that's fine-oh and if you're fine with paying $8 for it and side of tortilla chips. They sell Liz Lovely cookies for $5 a pack. The place is also ALWAYS packed full of people-it's so loud and cramped. Employees are rude. Ugh, Williamsburg.

Slim pickings for vegans - Edit
While they do have vegan cookies, the menu is not oriented towards vegans. I went in to see about vegan options: the wraps are honey wheat, lots of animal cheese-based things. I tried to negotiate something vegan with the cashier & she just seemed overwhelmed like she didn't know where to begin. Of course one could order a salad sans meat & cheese with a vinaigrette... But if you want a hearty meal then go somewhere else.
