Tasty and Healthy - Edit
It's great that they offer an existing vegan option in most menu categories (plates, bowls, etc), plus you can create your own by swapping a vegan protein, sauce & side for the standard animal options for no charge, in most dishes. My advice is to start your order online, even if you don't complete it, so you can easily see all the options & substitutions available.
Read moreI had the Mediterranean Platter and swapped the cheese bread for wheat pita bread, and hummus for baba ganoush. It was a generous portion and delicious - including the falafel, and especially the sauces!
So nice to find quick but yummy vegan food that's also healthy/mostly whole foods (and reasonably priced!) outside of a big city. It's also the only place I've found other than Burgerville in the Pacific NW with vegan (nice cream) milkshakes, though those are a tad expensive.

Pros: Healthy options for both vegans & omnivore friends, Environmentally friendlier to-go packaging, Drive-thru order pickup window
Cons: A bit loud inside when busy

Always good food - Edit
Been to Aubergine several times and never have had a bad meal. They have several vegan and vegetarian option which are clearly marked. I got the the Peanut Tofu Bowl which was delicious. The peanut dressing has a nice spice to it. So much comes in the bowl. Very filling. My husband got the Avocado Cashew Melt. He said it was absolutely delicious and would definitely get it again. They have lemonades and teas for self serve. They’re good but the lemonades have stevia in it. Over all, great place to eat but can be a little pricey. For two people, we spend over $40 with tip. But yes, we’ll be back.

Meh - Edit
I'm grateful for any place that has clearly marked vegan options, but like another reviewer, I was not thrilled I received a cheese item after ordering the vegan-marked item and being sure to mention I would like it "vegan." I got a cheese bread thing as well. After more careful exploring, there is something on their menu warning folks, but it's nowhere near the food and I'd like to think the staff is trained on dietary issues and preferences, but alas.
Read moreBeyond that, the food is just lackluster. Their falafel is kinda gross and the rest of that bowl was okay. I also had a peanut something bowl on another trip with friends and it was also very basic.
Disappointingly, while they have "nice" cream, it's bland and icy and the brownie I got in my little sundae was dry and sandy.
If you are stuck for a place to go, it's got options that will tide you over, but I wouldn't recommend if you want something that truly tastes good. Check out Red Fort if you're in the area.
Pros: Clearly Marked Vegan Items
Cons: They mix in non-vegan sides with vegan dishes, Food is bland at best

Gave us cheese after we explicitly said we’re vegan - Edit
We told the cashier we’re vegan to make sure we were solid with our order and she told us you can swap out the protein on any bowls so we changed our minds to order the curry bowl and then it came with a cheese ball 🤦🏻♀️ when I told the cashier she was not apologetic and didn’t understand that I was upset that a cow had to suffer for my meal and then the product just ends up getting thrown out. I understand accidents happen, but to not even be apologetic is just [censored]. I wouldn’t come back here

Fresh and healthy lunches - Edit
A welcome stop in St George, Aubergine Kitchen has a decent selection of vegan dishes, desserts and smoothies, including salads, sandwiches and melts.
Read moreI double checked that the Mediterranean bowl was vegan but it came served with a cheese bread which isn’t vegan. Worth triple checking if you’re unsure.

Quite vegan friendly - Edit
In addition to their desserts being nice cream (rather than dairy). They have multiple options that can easily be made vegan. Also, they have a vegan Mac that is amazing!
