My fiance is a HUGE fan of dogs and he stops here almost every time we come to Disneyland! I personally love th margarita they offer. Its more like a seltzer than a margarita. But really good!!! Highly recommend stopping here!!

These taste like they are Field Roast Franks, which I strongly prefer over Beyond/Impossible sausages. My only complaint about the dog was that it really needed an acidic element. But that’s my personal preference! Also, this is theme park food. The fries were perfect.

Read moreThe plant-based dog topped with mushrooms, grilled onions and peppers, and dairy-free Crema that had a horseradish flavor to it, loved the crema. Added mustard to the dog for extra sauce. Good combination of flavors and textures. The film strip fries were excellent, crispy outside and a soft inside. If you are craving a hot dog go for it, but if not, I’d look for another option. The fries were good enough to go get on their own.

They finally have a vegan option. The Plant-Based Philly Dog is quite good. It is vegan as-is, needing no modifications. Comes topped with mushrooms, grilled peppers and onion and topped with vegan creama. The film strip fries are really good! I suggest Mobile ordering because the line gets quite long. Even mobile orders can take 1/2 hour during meal times so might want to plan ahead and order during off hours. Just something to keep in mind.

Since the last reviews they added the plant-based Philly Dog! It’s a Field Roast sausage with grilled veggies and a plant-based crema with fries. All vegan with no modifications!
Read moreIt was at dinner time and there was a long line. I think they forgot the crema, or there wasn’t much. It was okay, but since I don’t like mushrooms it was less toppings and a little dry. I’m sure it would’ve been better if they weren’t so busy.

Talked to the cashier and even though the bread isn’t vegan, suggested that I have the filling over fries... delicious! Not as filling as I would like, but it was tasty and vegan.

Unfortunately, there are no vegan options at this restaurant because the portobello mushroom philly comes on a potato bun that has milk, and the regular bun has egg.

Read moreAward Weiners is located in Disneyland California Adventure - Hollywood Land - in a retro style hot dog walk up. You order at a window and there is outdoor seating next door.
It's a very limited hot dog (meat) menu EXCEPT for the Portobello Philly Mushroom sandwich and it's a winner.
Good size, great taste and very reasonable price - under $10. Comes with fries. So if you need a quick, cheap bite I highly recommend it.
Pros: Great taste, Great value
