Vegan is understood, limited options - Edit
Pretty much the only place in Georgetown I could find a decent bread-breakfast. Staff knows what vegan is (it seems good to mention vegan explicitly, they asked if I was vegan when I asked for an oat milk coffee).

- “meat free sandwich”, which is just avocado, mushroom and lettuce (people on here mention they can add vegan cheese).
- peanutbutter bagel in several varieties, either plain, with banana, with chocolate and banana, or with jam
- Japanese curry (according to other reviewers here)
I had a peanut butter and banana option, it was good, it’s a safe option. But I wish there was something more exciting on the menu.

My go-to bagel place in George Town 🥯 - Edit
Have eaten here several times when visiting George Town. There are some great vegan options including sweet and savoury bagels, kombucha, and hot drinks.
Read moreEverything is homemade and naturally fermented, so good for the gut. The cafe is spotlessly clean, modern, and close to all the main tourist attractions. There is also a high standard of customer service, and they offer a delivery service through GrabFood.
My favourite item on the menu is the Meatless Sourdough Bagel Sandwich with an add on of Hash Brown. You need to specify that you are vegan, so that they will remove the dairy, and give you vegan cheese. Also love the Hibiscus Kombucha. It is the nicest kombucha that I have tasted 😋

The staff knows exactly what’s vegan and what’s not, they can change a lot of things to make it vegan. They have vegan cheese.

Sign outside saying "vegan options", when I enquired I was told I could have any of the peanut butter ones (including the chocolate!), or the Japanese curry which comes with a bagel - both of these are vegan with no changes. I could also have the "meatless" filled bagel - they take out the egg, swap in vegan cheese, and add more mushrooms and veggies - I went for this. It was really delicious! The vegan cheese was so good!! I should have asked the brand, it tasted like a strong cheddar and melted really well. I also have an oat milk white coffee (there was an extra charge for the milk) which was really nice. Free self serve hot and cold water, and WiFi, and good a/c. Perfect little place for a break. Really lovely staff, very knowledgeable about vegan items.

They accomodate for vegans. It is not specified in the menu, but if you go with meatless option and request it to be vegan, they will use vegan cheese 🩷 tasty and filling 🙏

Fantastic vegan bagel and oat milk cappuccino - Edit
We have already been here twice during our time in Georgetown and will definitely be coming most days for our lunch. As already mentioned multiple times, the vegan option is the meatless bagel which they veganise and we added a hashbrown into it too. They also have oat milk and I had great cappuccinos here (white coffee). The staff are also really lovely.

Meatless bagel can be made vegan, no egg or cheese, when I asked for that the staff mentioned it as the vegan option and offered vegan cheese and to add a hash brown inside the sandwich. It was a big loaded veggie sandwich with hummus - very good and filling. I would probably pass on the vegan cheese next time, it has a bit of the classic vegan cheese taste and the sandwich would be great without.
Read moreIf you feel like something smaller their peanut butter bagel is also delicious and I think they make the peanut butter in house! They also have oatmilk and make a great latte, listed as white coffee on the menu.

Hands down, best bagel I’ve ever had! Very good balance of the different flavors. Texture was on point as well. They make their own cream cheese and also offer a vegan one, which was really good.

I took the "meatless" bagel and asked to make it vegan. They removed the egg and replaced cheese with vegan cheese. So the vegan version includes avocado, salad, cucumber, tomatoe, hummus, mushrooms and vegan cheese. It was delicious and the bagel was soft. Also filling 👍🏻 and great espresso here!
