Read moreWhat was annoying was that the cafe has this whole schtick about being kind to the planet, and the expensive menu was to account for this. If they actually believed this, they wouldn't charge you and extra .50 for plant milk, as dairy is incredibly destructive. Along with an extra .50 for decaf, a 5.20 latter is simply squeezing money from you. Also, charging 2.00 to alter your dish means that people don't remove items they don't want, causing waste.
Also, a business that cares for animal welfare, as they claim, would not be killing them for profit, neither would they discourage dairy alternatives by making a 300% markup on a carton of oat milk.
Cons: Very expensive , Extra money for plant milk, decaf, alterations , Nonsense attitude to sustainability and welfare

Vegan menu is almost non-existent - Edit
Tasty food, but the vegan menu is now almost non-existent.
Read moreOn previous visits there were great brunch options available with scrambled tofu and vegan cheese. Now the only option is a fruit bowl.
I would often boast about this place to friends/family but sadly it is no longer an option.
Pros: Good coffee with milk alternatives

As of October 2023 they no longer have the kimchi fried rice and the only vegan option as-is on the menu is a fruit bowl 😬 you can make the new hummus/pita meal vegan without the egg and they didn’t charge me for the modification - and it was actually delicious! But not super filling or satisfying without adding avocado or potatoes. Drinks and coffee were great.

Incredible vegan option - Edit
My second time here and I tried their new dish, vegan Kimchi fried rice. It was incredible. The sticky tofu in it was the star! Would really like them to expand their vegan menu, esp milkshakes.

Only one vegan option which was kimchi fried rice, certainly not to everyone’s taste. Mixed service, girl with short dyed hair was lovely, everyone else was a bit rude.

Wonderful Brunch - Edit
This was a great find for brunch. The service was friendly and the food was well prepared, the flavors well thought out, beautiful presentation and very filling. We tried out 3 brunch restaurants during our trip to Amsterdam and this was by far our favorite!

The vegan breakfast was outstanding. Really delicious and filling! You could tell there was real intention to prepare a tasty vegan meal rather than just adding a vegan option to appease vegan customers.

I went to Amsterdam with omni friends and so I always chose the restaurants. I chose this because it is apparently a Kiwi and Brazilian place (offering some typical dishes) and it sounded really cool.

I took the vegan brekki which included toast, avocado, mushrooms, potatoes, scrambled tofu and camembert. The camembert tasted really awesome! The mushrooms were done with cream and a lot of spices. The scrambled tofu was slightly spicy (nice!) and the potatoes were amazing as well. All in all an amazing breakfast! But beware ... it's quiet a big portion :)
Other vegan options included granola, pancakes and fruit bowl.
they also offered chai latte, which was a bit small but tasty nonetheless😄it was quiet spicy, so I suppose they use a tea (or powder) with a lot of pepper.
