😎😋 🍰 🍪 🍞

Good selection of bread, cookies and cake. A place not to be missed for an afternoon tea/coffee. Love it.

Vegan bakery

Tried their tiramisu. Honestly, the cream was not bad. The cake was slightly chunky. The seating has increased. Chill vibes

best frosting hands down

i wish i knew how they made their frosting. i love it and their cakes have the perfect taste and texture for me. my friend said the tiramisu was the best she ever had vegan or not. i wish they were open more often and had a bigger place for sitting and drinking coffee inside. there’s only 2 chairs there i think.

it’s best to reserve what you want with them on instagram the night before as they sell out quickly.

they also have an online store which opens every sunday night, but i would rather get the things fresh.

edit: they now have opened at a new location with seating. the cakes are still great and now it’s even closer to a subway station (naebang). a must visit, but to be honest it is a bit expensive

edit again: they have changed their menu a bit from their first location, and the tarts i do not like. the cake also seems a bit different. the frosting is still amazing but i miss the old menu. it’s a nice treat once and a while

Just the right amount of sweetness....

A one-person run bakery, this cafe-bakery offers a modest selections of baked goods. All items are clearly marked when they are gluten free (GF) (see photos). The gluten free items are made with brown rice flour.

On this occasion, I have bought citron scones, tofu brownie, and mugwort mini pound cake. They were all delicious and not very sweet. If it weren't for the label, I wouldn't have guessed that tofu was used in making the brownie. The pound cake had dried figs in them, a nice addition.

Because it is a small store, it doesn't have many seats. I noticed two tables and about 5-6 chairs inside.. The owner also prepared a plate with samples of the day's offerings to taste. What I really appreciated was that the goodies were not packed in those clear vinyl/plastic packaging.

Edit: Since it has moved to a new location, I need to update how to get there. It is a short walk from Exit 3 or Naebang station (Line 7). Get out of the exit, walk straight, and turn right at the first corner. The bakery, now named Bakeshop Pivot, should be on your left within 40m range.

might need to pivot south of the river

Baked goods were moist and not too sweet but sweet enough. Was nice to find a banana bread without walnuts. Visited them at a pop-up location. Looking forward to go to their storefront.

Very covid safe!!

The door says "wear a mask" in English, which surprised me if 😋 They've put up a plastic barrier, blocking the baked goods from grimy customers like me, so I had to tell the shop owner each thing i wanted. Not gonna lie, if i didnt have the shame building with each item i told her to pack up for me, i probably would have bought more. She was sincerely polite, though! Asked how i heard of the place and told her HAPPY COW 😉

The brownie is not as sweet at i expected it to be but i still ate the whole thing. The matcha muffic has a bunch of red beans in it, which surprised me. Def wanna try more of their cakes.

Pros: ALL VEGAN 😋

Cons: Not a place for sweet tooths 🙃

Tiny & healthy

A tiny store with a tiny menu providing tiny seating space (2 tables) run by one lady.

Once the food items are sold out, no new items are made that day. But any bakery items leftover from the previous day are sold at a generous discount of 40% lower than the original price.

Some of the bakery products are gluten-free, some are made from whole grain wheat flour - using many ingredients considered as "healthy" in general. Thus the store offers good alternatives for people with food intolerances.

Bakery products look healthy and they taste healthy as well.
Not very sweet overall and the tofu brownie was juicy.

Pros: Healthy, Drinks are inexpensive

Cons: Food is expensive, Small space
