I heard good things about their toasties, so here I am. My sandwich had broccoli, mushrooms, cashew cheese, pickled red onions and smoked almonds. A considered, creative combo with diverse textures and flavours that balanced well. The fresh, blanched broccoli complimented the juicy roasted mushrooms and neither made the sandwich soggy, which is a risk! The texture of their cashew cheese is similar to ricotta, while fluffy it was still a little chunky. The almonds added a nice crunch and the onions brought a tart bite. I'm keen to try the only other vegan option, the cauliflower and truffle toastie. Lots of local residents and workers were getting coffee, so it must be good.

Sandwich shop and grocer - Edit
The coffee is excellent, I’ve been coming here for a while. However I never tried the vegan toasties until today. The cauliflower toastie is savoury and a little sweet with a bit of curry in it. The bread is crispy and toasted in an olive oil. Wow so yummy. Will be back for more!
