Good food, worth the smell

I do agree with everyone: the place stinks of smoke. There's a cigarette shop nearby and not a lot can be done to prevent this. If cigarette smoke affects you, order to-go and the food is generally good but more of a 2.5/3 stars if taken to-go. It's 4 stars fresh easily. I recommend the vegetarian spring rolls and the lemongrass tofu, medium spice. It's the same order I get every time. I'm not a fan of the vegan pho and I haven't tried any other dishes that can be customized, but I heard good things about the pineapple fried rice made vegan. Their tofu in particular here is cooked very well, and it has a good spongey/firm texture I enjoy.

Pros: Good portions, fair prices, Accomodating to vegans

Cons: Smoke smell, Vegan options are not marked on the menu

Good Food

I eat here often and love every dish I have tried. Many menu items are vegan and most others can be made vegan upon request. For instance they can replace egg noodle dishes with glass noodles. They are knowledgeable and very accommodating. They know how to do tofu right! Tofu is tasty with good texture! Ask for the vegan garlic soy or peanut sauce in place of the fish sauce that comes with some dishes. Their vegan garlic soy is delicious and makes a great fish sauce replacement for veganized menu items.
As for the smoky smell some people complain about… i think it is due to cigar/smoke shop a couple doors down. It is not that bad in my opinion and I doubt they could do much to prevent it. I’m willing to overlook it for the amazing food!

Not My Favorite

The wait staff was friendly, and my food didn't taste too bad. The restaurant smelled horrible, though, which made it difficult to enjoy my meal at all. I doubt I will go back.

Pros: Friendly staff, Plenty of vegan options

Cons: Smells really bad

Tasty food and friendly service

I got the noodle (request clear noodles only) stir-fry with tofu. It was really good. If I were to ever come through here again, I’d get the tofu stir-fry with more veggies and sans the noodles.

Pros: Stir fry!, Service, Inexpensive

Cons: Restaurant kinda smelled like cigars.

Great Fried Tofu and Cold Spring Rolls

I could eat at this place every week. They have no trouble making sure that your order is vegan. You can get the best fried tofu ever! And they can make the spring rolls vegan. Great friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere. Lots of parking and right by health food store to shop after you eat.

Pros: Delicious Food, Lots of Parking, Friendly Staff

gross

This place STINKS so badly. I sat down long enough to look at the menu, inquire what is vegan (the waitress said anything could be made vegan... Not sure how realistic this is since most of their menu items consist of dishes with egg noodles), and then decided my lungs couldn't take it and got out. So gross.

Vegan nomz!!

Tell them you're vegan and say no more. They cater to vegans and vegetarians alike. I'm a long-haul truck driver based out of Springfield and I make it a point to stop in our terminal once a month get off the road and hit these guys up.

Pros: The Vietnamese real deal! Authentic dishes made ve

Cons: None. c:

They have tofu!

I'm vegan and I eat here at least once a month. They have three or four menu items that list tofu as an option: These are basically rice+veggies+tofu dishes. They taste great and seem very fresh and healthy. You can also get the springrolls with tofu. The only downside is the restaurant smells like smoke; they say it's because a tobacco shop is a few doors down.

Pros: healthy, tasty vegan food available

Cons: smokey

Delicious

This restaurant is great. They can and will make vegetarian and even vegan options available. Although by looking through their menu it doesn't appear to be so. Just ask the wait staff and they will show you what can be made vegetarian and/or vegan. Plus, the owner said he will make PHO vegetarian (and I'm thinking probably vegan) with no chicken or beef stock, just vegetable stock. Delicious!

Pros: Delicious, Great Prices, Will prepare vegetarian/vegan options.

Cons: Not as big of a vegetarian/vegan menu.
