It's awesome that places like this exist, but for the prices you pay, the portion size is just way too small.

The full English is amazing - although should really have (vegan scrambled) eggs - I just ordered some as well - but ended up with slightly too much toast…… great selection.

We discovered the restaurant with a perfect name though happy cow! Friendly staff, super cosy interior and a great chef. We had the BLT (bacon lettuce tomato) sandwich - it’s a summer special. And also the new chef’s edition: filled croissant. We also added plain pancakes to share. We really liked the atmosphere and food. It took about 20 minutes until the food arrived, but everything was well prepared, warm and done at the same time. If you’re around definitely check it out. Came back later for their lemon cake and vienna styled iced coffee.

Englisches Frühstück: 3/5, gut aber am schwächsten. Baked beans war gut, aber dadurch dass sie selbstgemacht waren, haben sie bisschen eine Erwartungshaltung enttäuscht, da sie nicht so die klassischen baked beans waren. Die Würstchen waren auch eher meh, kinda crumbly. Ansonsten gut
Lox-Bagel: 5/5, genau so soll er sein. Getoasteter Bagel, aufgeschlagen und auf beiden Seiten reich belegt, mit Kren und sehr gutem fake Lachs.
Wiener Frühstück: 4.5/5 Alles sehr gut, das Kipferl hätte etwas besser sein können, ansonsten top.
French toast: 5/5, absolut out-of-this-world. Eine große Toastschnitte (der Toast hat selbstgemacht ausgeschaut), knusprig außen, innen soft, mit Ahorn Sirup. Wirklich, wirklich Wahnsinn.
Getränke: 3/5, sehr gut, außer der Kaffee leider.

We went to the Bistro Deppat for brunch on a Sunday and it was good to book a table before as it was quite busy and therefore rather loud, but this is the only 'negative' thing to say, as otherwise it's a real gem!
Read moreI had the breakfast beagle with 'bacon and egg' and it was very delicious!! I also tried the Croque Madame which was also great.
The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere in the café is also really nice. Next time I'm trying the sweet dishes 🫶 I also heard that there is an outdoor seating area worth checking out. So I can't wait to go back! :)
Pros: All vegan deliciousness, sweet atmosphere, games & plant swop! 🌱, very kind staff, inexpensive!
Cons: as it was super busy it was quite loud inside

Wir waren hier während unseres Trips in Wien frühstücken und es war super. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und das Essen sehr lecker. Wir hatten das gefüllte Croissant und den herzhaften Bagel! Schade, dass Montags zu ist, sonst wären wir morgen direkt wieder hin. Klare Empfehlung

This is a nice all vegan breakfast spot with many options. A bagel costs between 10 and 12€. The egg on the breakfast bagel was not very egg-y, but still a nice spread, so not mad about that at all😄Same with the lox. I didn't find it exceptional, but nevertheless very tasty. Also good for those who enjoy fake animal products like vegan bacon etc. Friendly service.

Unfortunately one of the pages on the clipboard menu was missing and I didn't see all the amazing full breakfast options. The savoury waffle dough was great. The "latte's" could be a bit bigger for my taste. However, I went their with regulars who absolutely love it.
