I popped in here to grab some food as I was staying at a nearby hotel. They had a cooler with some sandwiches and fresh orange juice. Also grabbed a jar of salsa and chips. Definitely worth a stop by for its quaintness :-)
Great options for those seeking vegan options, organic food, health food, or all natural products. Try the falafels and dumplings they sell. Great stuff. Also, super friendly people. The lady who works there has lots of awesome food/cooking tips to pass along. If you want something they don't have, ask. They may order it for you. :)
I visited Black Mountain Natural Foods back in 2008 and was impressed with the variety, energy, and dynamics of the store. Black Mountain is a really neat area for artists, musicians, and anyone who is interested in natural healing and health foods. For vegetarians, vegans, and raw foodists, the Asheville/Black Mountain area has quite a number of options to choose from as far as restaurants go too. Be sure to check out this natural foods store. It is a very nice place.
