An amazing place to eat vegan sushi in Paris - Edit
I've been vegan for 9 years now and so used to eat cucumber and avocado sushi.
Read moreThanks to Bloom Sushi I was able to choose between a lot of different dishes and a lot of option.
It's so nice "not to know what to take" in a menu.
Regarding the service : people are really nice and welcoming.
The food : A-MA-ZING! I went there twice (i'm from Lille) with non vegan friends and they all loved it.
The food worth every penny and I plan to go back there when i'll be in Paris next time.
Pros: nice vibe, excellent food, friendly staff

The best vegan sushi i’ve ever had. They had a large variety of all sorts of sushi types as well as typical iteams such as edamame. The sushi was presented really nicely and the restaurant looks luxurious. They have a covered outdoor seating area too. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. You do need a reservation though otherwise there is a wait.

Let's start with the positives:
Read more- we didn't hate it
- we were not hungry after eating to the very last crumbs
Now the less positives:
- it lacked in taste and texture, especially compared to how fancy it presents itself
- the quantities were not satisfying, especially compared to the prices
- the ambiance was sterile
- the hosts were not particularly welcoming nor warm
- speaking of warm, the fries and the tea were luke warm
- the menu was not clear enough, no details, only a global mention of allergens (had the surprise to see that my sweet potato fries were actually tempura, so most probably with gluten)(then again, I could have asked, though who'd expect fries to contain gluten?)
Global appreciation: very disapointing, would not return

Great plantbased sushi - Edit
We really enjoyed the plantbased sushi at this place. The Arancini as a starter were really tasty and the sushi was presented beautifully. If I had to complain about something I would say that the food was brought rather quickly. We had starters, main and a dessert and spent approximately 45 minutes there. It was no big deal, but when you spend 80€ in a restaurant, a little time to enjoy the evening between meals would be nice.

We ordered different maki dishes which were beautifully presented and all very tasty, both in savor and in texture. The mocktail and mochis were nice too!
Read moreI would recommend this place for special occasions as it is a bit pricey and not your everyday type of makis.
I just wish there was sweet soy sauce to serve with makis, and less ginger in our plate. The staff was nice and reactive, but it felt like they were all a bit stressed out. I guess I would have expected a "chiller" service for this kind of place, but maybe they were overcrowded.

The menu is like a fever dream of excellent-sounding options. The sushi did not disappoint! We ended up ordering Cauliflower Tempura and 3 rolls: Katsu Curry, Mr Crunch and Nasu Miso Flambée. All great. The soba noodle salad was the only non-standout dish, but still good.

Favorite meal so far in Paris - Edit
We got the omakase for 2 with gyoza, miso soup and a variety of rolls. Everything was so good I almost cried. Our favorites were the curry katsu frit, the pleurote tempura, the kimbap, and nasu miso flambée. This is the best vegan sushi we’ve ever had.

Coming from SoCal this was definitely a different take on vegan sushi. We walked into this restaurant on a very rainy, busy night. It was extremely crowded so we sat at the bar. We ordered some dumplings, miso soup, and a deep fried sushi roll. The dumplings only came with 3 pieces. I noticed the portion sizes in Paris were a lot smaller than what I’m used to back in Cali.

Bloom Sushi offers an unequivocal selection of top-quality sushi and maki. The place is classy, pleasant and quiet. I really liked the miso soup, gyozas and makis, a little less the dessert. But all in all, it's excellent and well worth the trip and the rather high prices. The staff were pleasant and the whole experience quite enjoyable.

We had the single menu, avocado and philadelphia sushi and the Mont Blanc as desert. Super friendly service, food came fast and the ambience was nice. Definitely recommend visiting the place!
