The sausage I had was great, I'm guessing beyond sausage. The chips were average, but I can't be too choosy as a vegan looking for food on Christmas morning!
Honestly, I ate at 1015, and it's 1530 now, so it's sustained me fairly well!

Terrible - do not trust - Edit
Do not eat here. Awful experience as a vegan. Told that it will take 20 mins to cook vegan option, then after waiting this time, told I am in the wrong and tried to serve chips only. Will never eat here again. No point them having vegan options as they say they are cook to order and then they don't! Gordon street branch don't have vegan options and argyle street say they do but then they don't. Worst customer service ever, they blame the customer for getting it wrong.

Basic vegan options, open late - Edit
Blue Lagoon has two vegan options marked on the menu (battered vegan sausages and vegan nuggets). They provide a fine but basic vegan option and are of course open very late so provide a late night option in Glasgow when few places are open. The food is alright but unfortunately requesting a vegan option can result in a 15 min plus wait as they have to heat up the separate vegan fryer.

💭: this was really good and filled a little hole of missing out on traditional chip shop food. However, portion was very small in comparison to non-vegan food

📝: blue lagoon is legendary in Glasgow so to have vegan options is amazing
