Great food, but mediocre service - Edit
The food here was amazing and definitely worth the drive into the city. The omnivorous menu was already small, but about half was vegan friendly. My wife and I got two appetizers and the veggie platter for two with six vegan dishes. It was a great sampler of all the food. Some dishes were very spicy! But we were able to enjoy them. The mango juice was especially yummy! One of our appetizers was served still frozen inside! It's not like they rushed it out to us either. It wasn't easy to flag for attention even though we were only one of two active tables. The server barely spoke to us. Part of our interest in coming was a $30 discount from the app inkind, but it required spending $90 . You will not spend that much here with just two people. There are no alcoholic drinks or deserts.

Great veggie combos - Edit
We got the veggie revenge to go with gluten free injera. Everything was delicious. Our order was ready right on time, everyone inside was friendly and helpful. The food was still warm when we got home and it was just the right amount. Highly recommend.

Great price, great portion, and flavorful. Funny location and atmosphere inside. Could be a little cozier, but the food was great and there weren’t many people dining, so it was pretty quiet. #Veganuary

One of my favorite restaurants in JP. The veggie combo or veggie revenge are both great vegan options. So so delicious. If you go during a slow time, like lunch on a weekday, you can chat up the owner and he may give you free samples😉He's super kind and loves talking about his food!

The food here is always excellent and the staff is always very friendly. You might encounter the owner serving you, and he miiiight give you an extra serving of your favorite dish if you're gushing about it as much as I always do. No promises, though, that's only happened to me once😄
Read moreThey offer two vegetarian combos and it's very easy to choose vegan options. Only one of the vegetarian section dishes isn't vegan. My personal favorite is the Shiro Wet (#7).
