Best budget price food in New York - Edit
I’ve been to a lot of hipster uptight pricey vegan restaurants in the city but this one tops them all for quality over price. It was incredible to see so many cheap items on the menu fir only $5. What’s crazy is how filling the dim sum items are. I ordered medium and it was too filling for me, but goodness it was so tasty. It’s deceiving because the portion sizes are so small but they are nutrient packed and condensed. I felt good after eating the food too, almost as if my body knows that good nutrients are going in my body. The food is simple unintimidating and there’s an incredible variety it’s wild. Try the tofu cheesecake it’s amazing. Their seaweed sesame rolls are a filling yummy healthful appetizer definitely not to eat alone (for a group of three). I loved the Taro and Cantonese dumplings. Oh and you will get the traditional fortune cookie too

This place is legendary and should sit on the Mt. Rushmore of NYC vegan spots. One look at the Chinese-Hebrew-English menu and you’ll be sold

Best sushi in NYC - Edit
Went with a bunch of non-vegan friends and everyone was blown away. We all ate family style and got to try a bunch of different items off the menu. EVERYTHING was delicious, but the most memorable part of my meal was the sushi. There was mock tuna and salmon that was so realistic it was a little scary. Dreaming of going back there again sometime soon...

Fantastic - Edit
Fantastic vegan* food: Chinese, "sushi", and others. The curry is superb. So is the General Tso "chicken". I've probably dined or ordered from here 50 times by now, and it's been consistently excellent. Prices are good also. Friendly welcoming staff and a nice environment also.

Chinese restaurant of my dreams - Edit
Came here on New Year w my reducetarian dad. Staff members was really cheerful and gave us many well wishes despite them being packed. They didn't seem frazzled.
Read moreI looked at the dim sum menu with glee: so many kinds, many not even found in typical places despite being so tasty, like the spring roll rice roll.
We ordered a bunch, including a few kinds of dumplings, rice rolls, and of course turnip cakes! Almost everything was great, especially the last. Wish the mushroom rice roll had more mushrooms in it. The soup dumplings were almost all punctured. My dad missed meat, but I liked the taste of everything.
We ended w the tofu cheesecake, which was quite nice, smooth w flaky crust, not too sweet!
I wanna come back here every time I visit NYC!
Pros: Amazing dim sum, Many other vegan options, Warm and friendly staff
Cons: Can be crowded due to popularity

My favorite restaurant in New York City - Edit
This place is just all around amazing. I haven’t quite tried to entire menu, but close, and I’ve never been short of amazed. I highly recommend any of the dim sum items, sushi rolls, and the bbq meat; but whatever you order is more than likely going to be wonderful.

Tasty chinese, faux-meat place - Edit
This is in the heart of NYC's Chinatown. It serves standard chinese food--but all vegan. The food is quite tasty, and the portions are generous--you will be stuffed. It is not necessarily a healthy place, with a lot of faux-meats, but for those who love--and perhaps miss--Chinese food, this place is a winner. They have also added vegan sushi. Good, though I feel Jisu in Chinatown is better (though not so centrally located), and LuAnn's Wild Ginger near Chinatown is the best of the lot.

Fantastic Chinese Food - Edit
We love Chinese food and the menu here is great with loads of mock meat options. The food was tasty, the staff friendly and it is really good value. We had the lunchtime menu which includes a soup or springroll plus a main dish for $7.50. Sweet and sour fried 'chicken' and 'lamb' with vegetables and garlic sauce were both delicious and a great size. We were persuaded to try the cheesecake despite being full and it was worth finding space for!

I don’t even know where to begin. I was blown away by the food, the fact that there’s a 100% vegan traditional Chinatown restaurant, and the friendliness of the staff. This is where it’s at! I got the chicken lo mein, my mom got fried rice, and we both loved each dish. I’ll definitely be back!

The Best Vege Restaurant in NYC - Edit
This establishment is run by the original creator/owner of Buddha Bodai on Mott Street [which was taken over by his landlord in a hostile fashion]. The karma is much better here,at 77 Mulberry Street. The food is as delicious as ever. Exceedingly friendly and helpful staff.
