I've missed dim sum so much! - Edit
I haven’t had Dim Sum in years, so I was so excited to find this little gem! Their BBQ “meat” is totally delicious and there’s a great selection of vegan dim sum and other classic Chinese options. Cheap food, friendly atmosphere, and delicious flavors. Will definitely be visiting again!

So many excellent choices! - Edit
Came here with an omni friend and he loved it! I’m a huge fan of fake meat, so I was in heaven here. Love the bbq. The dumplings are also amazing. It’s pretty cheap, so you can order a ton of dishes and enjoy family style. Good for groups.

Vegan Dim Sum Heaven! - Edit
As someone who grew up with Dim Sum, I was sad when becoming vegan also meant parting with one of my cherished gathering activities. I don't have similar options where I live, but on a recent trip to NYC I got to try this place, and I'm so so happy! Food was flavorful, true to the originals, and I eat happily not having to ask or wonder whether each dish inadvertently has meat "hidden." The staff there are so kind and helpful.

Incredible! - Edit
We got to this buddha bodai because the other one was full...boy were we happy when we arrived and found this bodai to be warmer, friendlier and less crowded which created a nice environment for us to just sit and enjoy the food. We had chick'n chowfun, some general tso chik'n ...tried many dumplings and fried rolls ..it was a true feast. The plates were generous and so flavorful...I cant wait to go back!

Great lunch spot - Edit
I like to order take-out from Buddha (both Buddhas, Mott and Mulberry) for lunch. The seating and decor is nice and staff are great for eating-in as well but I do love the lunch specials!

Great menu - Edit
All vegan extensive menu at a great price (especially at lunch time, it's like 8 bucks). I ate there 5 times during my 2 week stay in NYC :D Non-veg boyfriend loved it as well, he wouldnt believe the chicken was faux at first.

Wow amazing Chinese food! 2 vegans, 2 veggies and 2 omnis left here happy! - Edit
Excellent meal for 6 whilst on our short NYC trip. Researched before hand on happy cow, personal recommendations and trip advisor and came across this place by accident. We were all very happy with our food. Only problem was that we ordered too much! They will pack it up though if there is anything left and we gave it to a homeless person.

Completely Vegan and well worth the trip - Edit
This place is completely vegan. I eat here every time I am in the city. It is well worth the trip to ChinaTown. My non-vegan friends love every dish. Good service with great use of spices. Great selection from Chinese dishes to dim sum to sushi.......all Vegan. My wife and kids love this place too. Highly recommended if you are looking for great quality all vegan Chinese food.

Tasty dimsum - Edit
Fantastic that all menu is suitable for vegans. Friendly wait staff. Very easy to over order (most dim sum dishes come with approx 3 pieces). Don’t eat too much here. Save space for the ice cream shop and other eateries nearby!

When I asked if the menu item I ordered was vegan my server said everything is vegan. I had to kinds of dimsum that I can't remember name of and a lunch special. Way too much food but was only 15 bucks. Enough for two meals easily.

it’s all vegan! - Edit
this place is an overlooked gem in nyc. after talking to our server we learned they changed their menu a while ago & now it’s all vegan! they have vegan sushi, dim sum ( that won top 10 in nyc) & chinese dishes. we had some dim sum (recommend the ‘shrimp’ dumpling & the spinach rice roll) & their laksa (a spicy noodle soup). the laksa was off the chain! it tasted just like i had in singapore! everything we ordered was delicious & the place was packed. the menu is amazing too! you also get little freebies like salted peanuts, tea, orange slices &, of course, fortune cookies. not many restaurants, especially in ny give freebies anymore! this is one of the best vegan places in the city! (not to mention our entire dinner bill was 22$!!)

Food was good, service awful. - Edit
Went on my own after discovering it on this app. The take out menu had more options than the menu they gave me in store, but I overheard something about president day and there being no special menu.
Read moreAnyhow, lovely lady gave me tea shortly after being seated. I ordered, that order was forgotten, I ordered again, and it didn’t appear. People around me were getting food, but it took quite a while. Maybe they forgot about me twice? They server for another table seemed dismissive of a customers questions about the limited menu, they left.
Food is very reasonably priced, enjoyed my meal - not the experience. But I would give it another chance if I’m around that area.
Pros: good pricing on food, apparently they have a ‘special’ menu, have vegan sushi
Cons: service not great, forgetful

Oh my god! - Edit
I was so surprised to find an all vegan Chinese restaurant! First of all - the menu is HUGE. There's a big selection of dim sum alongside main course meals, soups, rice and noodle dishes and also some desserts.
Read moreWe ordered fried taro dumplings, pan fried dumpling, sticky rice shumai, BBQ veg meat, steamed soup dumpling and veg prawn with walnut. (This was for two people btw, way too much food, we took a lot of leftovers back to our hotel.) Oh and the servings were big.
The shumai was okay, and the dumplings were good but - the BBQ veg meat was FANTASTIC and so was the veg prawn with walnut. The fried taro dumplings are also a MUST! There's so many things I want to try from the menu, I'm so sad that this place is so far away. The staff were also friendly and fast.
10/10 would fly to New York just to eat at this place.
Pros: Amazing food!, HUGE selection, All vegan chinese food
Cons: NONE
