Decent vegan corndog - Edit
A good option for a quick, albeit pricey, vegan bite in the Jean Talon market… We tried the Classic and Québécois sauces. The latter was make your nose itch kind of spicy. Personally, e thought they were just ok (3/5⭐️), but could be greatly improved with a sweeter corn batter, or the option to add a bit of maple syrup on top.

Great pogos - Edit
If it wouldn’t have been for HappyCow, I wouldn’t have known this place was vegan. It’s written in really small at the bottom of the menu that everything is vegan 😅. The staff is super nice. The service is fast. The price for the pogos is fair (the lemonade is really expensive though). The portion seems small when you look at it, but honestly it’s really fullfilling, you won’t be hungry afterwards!! The frying was perfect, the cornbread was good, but I didn’t like the hot-dog so much. I think it’ because I don’t like when it tastes too similar to the meat version 😳. Overall, I would recommend to try it. It’s a great spot for tourists who might not be familiar with pogos.

I loved finding a vegan option at Marché Jean Talon. These pogos were made to order. They were super delicious and crispy. I enjoyed the vegan hot dog that they use.

good pogos! honestly the best I've had since I've gone vegan. They have like 4 different sauces you can get, and the menu is fully vegan.

Traditional pogos! Two juicy, vegan hotdogs wrapped in cornbread which has been lightly sweetened with maple. Friendly staff. All vegan food! Seating available.
