It's kind of in the name...

The vegan Reuben is no longer available - nor the vegan chicken in the description it's just burgers and one vegan dirty fries.... I got the bacon cheese moving mountains burger which was tasty but not outstanding. I think the vegan options are more there for flexitarians or large groups with a vegan in their midsts. Vegans aren't afterthoughts, but maybe sidethoughts. I hope the options encourage regulars tip give vegan a try. But for me, overall I decided I'd rather pay my money to a vegan or vegetarian business so many of which offer a tasty burger option.

Pros: Tasty vegan burgers meat eaters would enjoy

Cons: Limited vegan options

Mmmmmm burgerssss

Vegan rueben delicious!!! Had some vegan loaded fries to share with the BF too. Great to have options rather than a simple vegan cheeseburger. Felt like I had loads of choices and it was all in all a great date night!! Was absolutely stuffed at the end- good portions :-)

Returned here after a couple of years: I think they’ve reduced their vegan options which is a real shame. I was there on a Monday when there is half price for students, but there were only two vegan burgers to choose from, the regular hamburger and cheeseburger type ones. I think they have a couple other options on the full price menu, but I don’t know if they do the reuben anymore, which was my favourite. Still enjoyed the burger, but I don’t know if I’m willing to pay full price there since I’m good at making vegan burgers at home 🤪

Cool spot, nice food!

Had a This Isn't Bacon sarnie, which was really nice and crispy.

Me and a friend asked about having the poutine as a side and they sorted that, no problem.

The poutine was pretty good and tasty.

Awful microwaved, cold, supermarket food.

Supermarket burgers undercooked in a microwave and served cold. Avoid at all costs. Oh, and for a burger with no sides or chips ( and consisting of one cold pattie...) it's 12/13/14 quid. Absolute madness. If this is what carnists think we'll enjoy, they seriously need to expand their understanding on how the good guys live. Lighting was insanely bright, music too loud. Woeful. Avoid.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Everything.

Disappointing, burgers not homemade

We ate there with some meat-eating friends before a gig at the Oran Mor. All the vegan burgers are Moving Mountain burgers, which is ok if you like fake meat burgers, but there was not much else if you don't. It's also disappointing for a burger place to sell frozen shop bought burgers for £12/ £13 and not make their own. This is for the burger alone, without chips or anything else on the side. My partner had the angry vegan burger, which he did really enjoy, although very slightly burnt, with a good sauce. As I don't like Moving Mountains burger and didn't fancy the 'bacon' sandwich, I ordered vegan disco fries/ poutine. This was the most overpriced and untasty bowl of chips I've had. The chips were ok, but the gravy was salty and quite watery, and the vegan cheese was the worst kind that you get in bags, pre grated, plasticky, and tasteless It was £10.50 for what was basically chips and gravy.

I would recommend that the restaurant vary the types of burgers they do and offer alternatives such as bean burgers/ chickpea burgers and even fried fake chicken type burgers, as an alternative to Moving Mountains patties. They could also invest in some decent vegan cheeses as there are so many great ones out there, and having a melty mozzarella type would make such a difference.

Pros: Decor, Location to Oran Mor

Cons: Shop bought burger patties, Overpriced poutine with tasteless vegan cheese, Limited range of vegan burgers

Plenty of choice

Changed the menu a while ago, the non-meat options changed from mostly vegetarian to mostly vegan so there is plenty of choice! Always been happy with the burgers and chips

Perfect burguers

The cheesy burguers are delicious. The fries are also really tasty, good portions and they have vegan mayo to go with the fries!

Great if you can eat soy

The staff are really nice and the food is great when I've been - I love the vegan poutine! A big issue I found with my girlfriend who's allergic to soy is that there are no vegan options which don't include soy. Something to consider!

Pros: Tasty burgers (moving mountains) , Amazing poutine

Cons: Chips and burger separate, Vegan options all include soy

We’ve had your money, now get out!

Booked weeks in advance based on recommendation. Ordered and had to wait 30 minutes for food. I had the vegan cheeseburger with bacon and the vegan poutine which was tasty and I enjoyed. I was astonished that as they removed plate they said we need your table back in 15 minutes. We had not been told this on booking or on arrival that evening; basically ‘we’ve had your money now get out’. Shocking customer service; or lack thereof.

Pros: Food was tasty

Cons: Waited 30 minutes for food , Told we’d 15 minutes to leave , Prioritising sales above customer service

Fast food with different vegan options

The fast food offers different vegan options (burgers, sandwiches, simili chicken wings...). The vegan cheese burger was good but not great. The chips are not included with the burger and you have take them as a side. The staff was nice!

Pros: Different fast food vegan options, Nice staff

Great vegan burgers and poutine

Walked past this place and saw a separate vegan menu so thought it was worth a try. Glad I did. The burger patty was one of the best vegan patties I've had. It had the texture and the grilled taste of a regular burger. The poutine was a generous portion. Prices were really good and service was prompt and friendly. I'm happy to see they put just as much care into their vegan food options.

Vegan burgers galore

I ordered the fried chick’n with cheeze & bacon. It was so delicious! Great restaurant to go to with vegans or omnis alike. Very busy so be prepared to wait at peak times. Lots of choice for vegans! Bit expensive for a burger, but you won’t regret it.

Pros: Plenty of options , Tasty burgers , Great fries

Cons: Super busy, Rushed staff, Pricey for a burger

Fantastic choice for vegans

I haven't physically visited the restaurant for their vegan menu but I ordered delivery last night and had the vegan chicken and cheeseburger with fries and it was amazing! They have several seitan burger options as well as vegan poutine, also the burger comes loaded with salad and burger sauce too, I really enjoyed it and am keen to try more of their menu soon :)

Pros: Lots of vegan options , burgers are filling

Also good for vegans

Despite its name, this restaurant caters well for vegans. There are several sandwich and burger options, and most of the sides can be veganised on request. We had the Chick'n Cheeze Burger made from seitan with the sweet potato fries, which I would recommend. The only thing I was missing was a dessert menu, but maybe that will follow soon?

Pros: most side dishes can be veganised

Cons: no sweet treats available
