Italian Cold Cut - Edit
The Italian cold cut is outstanding! The iced pumpkin chai is worth getting. I haven’t tried their other sandwiches yet. Their pasta salad, lavender lemonade, and chocolate chip cookies are also very good.

Delicious vegan sandwiches - Edit
Awesome little sandwich shop. Order at the window snd grab a spot at the big picnic tables. We tried the pesto and the barbecue chicken. The pesto was unanimously the favorite! These sandwiches are fairly inexpensive and enormous! Three of us split two sandwiches😄definitely worth the stop !

Considering relocating to SLC so I can have real sandwiches back in my life. Their Italian was killer, a classic deli sandwich unlike I've had in about 20 years (unless going to the trouble of making one myself). The side pesto pasta was so good we had to go back for more to take on the road.

This place really lives up to its reputation, I’d say. Selling such classics and making them so delicious is filling a niche I think. We need more of you! I had the Philly cheese steak and also got to try the Italian cold cuts one. Big big fan of both. So yum and flavorful. Would return so often if I lived close-by.

Why do more of these not exist yet?! I am so grateful to have a fully vegan sandwich spot that makes classic subs. They were delicious and the service was great. They have a free water station as well🚰👌 nice flavors, well balanced-No complaints.

Even my omnivore family enjoyed the vegan sandos we ordered. Canola oil is used in the buffalo sandwich. Olive oil is used in the pesto. I also recommend visiting their ice cream shop, monkey wrench.

I love you, Buds - Edit
Hands down my favorite eatery in SLC. Buds is everything right with food: Quick, convenient, cheap, and delicious. The only thing i would change about this place is to make it 24 hour. Try the pesto sandwich or if it's available, the meatball sub special. Never change, Buds. I love you.

3.5/5 After reading all the 5 star life changing reviews my expectations were through the roof. I ordered at the window and waited. (No gluten free options, but that’s alright). It isn’t cheap, nor expensive, but I was expecting a lot of food).
The “deli” sandwich I received was comprised of two small pieces of “Dave’s Killer Bread” micro greens, veggie turkey, guacamole, and spinach, and spicy mustard, (which I couldn’t detect)
It for sure wasn’t bad at all, but it tasted like an ordinary sandwich I could slap together at home for $2
Overall it was alright. It’s good there is a nice 100% vegan sandwich shop people can go to. But considering value, and flavour, I was overall not impressed.

Picked up 2 italian sandwiches with the vinaigrette on the side (so it didn’t get soggy) and took them to the airport for our flight home. Ate them about 4 hours after we picked them up and they were still fresh and delicious. Cute concept of an order and pickup window with outdoor seating.

Visited here recently on vacation and wasn’t disappointed! We had the buffalo and pesto sandwiches and both were excellent! Also ordered the lavender lemonade and vanilla iced chai—so good!

The sandwiches are huge! Very friendly and accommodating with my son’s special sandwich request. My husband loved the pesto sandwich and says it is the best! I really enjoyed the Buffalo sandwich and my daughter enjoyed her bbq sandwich. My son is super picky and he ate half of his too (he only stopped because he was full). Brownies are amazing.

Love da buds - Edit
I love buds so much. Back in college, we won't talk about how long ago that was. I would reward myself with a buds chicken pesto sandwich after every major test at the end of the school year. Now that I live in the SF Bay area I try to eat at buds every time I return to SLC. The sandwiches are great. You get a lot for your money. And the pesto sub is Devine. I cannot stress the amount of deliciousness in between bread.
