Great options and quality - Edit
I’ve tried a lot of their vegan options - tofu egg wrap, vegan nachos, vegan bbq chicken bites, harira soup, “chicken” sandwich, and avocado panini and i’ve genuinely loved every item i’ve had from here. they are pretty consistent and a good place to stop in for reliable and tasty options

Big servings - Edit
The vegan nachos could have been a meal for two, but we also had the brussel sprouts, vegan pasta, busboy burger (not vegan), dessert to go, chai latte we with almond milk, and a DC Tapwater (drink). Took home some fries, brussel sprouts, nachos, and all of my pasta! Was $100 but will have a few more meals from leftovers . Pasta has a slight kick, latte was a little thin/mild in flavor, brussel sprouts were nicely crisp and flavorful, nachos had a good selection of toppings, and the burger was ok.

Late lunch after day in DC - Edit
The four of us really enjoyed our lunch today after the Van Gogh Experience in DC. This location is near a public parking garage-yay! While half of our party went for traditional lunch things, I had the crispy vegan chicken sandwich, while Dan had the vegan tacos. Larry enjoyed his Moroccan two-bean vegetable soup. Finally, we all loved the Brussels sprouts appetizer. Absolutely fantastic.

Would give 5 stars if I could! - Edit
While not fully vegan, this place has so many options! I got a tofu scramble with extra veggies and a side of fruit and it was great (came with vegan sausage patties too). I felt the price was right, the people who work there are very kind, and I really liked the atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Nice patio for brunch - Edit
We had a nice brunch on the patio here. It was really busy so we did have some issues with getting our waitresses attention to refill our waters, but our brunch plates were fully loaded with tons of deliciousness. Overall very delicious.

What a find!! The atmosphere is casual and fun. There were many vegan options on the menu. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The quesadillas were the best I've ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Would definitely return.

Lots of options - Edit
Stopped by with some friends after a conference. This place has a huge selection of veg fare (all of which is well labeled) as well as non-veg food, so it's a great place to go with a group of people with diverse palates.
Read moreI had a hard time deciding what to order, since they had so many enticing vegan options to choose from - nachos, burgers, wraps, and sandwiches. They even have a vegan dessert menu. I ended up ordering the vegan tuna sandwich with tabouleh. Both were fresh and tasty.
I also liked the space quite a bit. The restaurant has high ceilings with many glass windows. It's well lit and feels very spacious, even when they're brimming with customers. There's also cool art throughout the place and a bookstore in front. Lastly, the service is friendly.
Definitely a nice spot to meet up with friends.
Pros: Beautiful space , Lots of vegan options

wonderful vegan options! - Edit
I live in DC, and this is my "regular" place. I love going to a place that has vegan and meat options so I can go there with anyone and everyone. They rotate the menu about once a season, but some of the things that seem to stay on there are vegan tuna sandwich (not a fake tuna but actually a chick pea and seaweed salad mix), vegan Cobb salad, vegan nachos, and every summer they bring back a yellow tomato gazpacho that is awesome.

New location old flavors - Edit
What a nice addition to the neighborhood to have a Busboys and Poets! This location is one that has plenty of outdoor seating, which allows you to have some nice weather accompaniment to your meal. The fare is the standard American western menu of paninis, burgers, appetizers and a few entree dishes. They have a huge selection of vegetarian options, and then there are about a dozen choices for vegan items like meatballs, crab cakes, falafel sandwich, beans and rice, gazpacho, sweet potato fries, quinoa, orzo pasta, pizza with Daiya and nachos.
Read moreFor dessert and brunch, you also have some good vegan choices here too including tofu scramble, burritos, yogurt, soup, Cobb salad, brownie, ice cream and home fries.
Simple but it'll do the trick!
Pros: Vegan items marked , Gluten free items marked, Good selection
Cons: No gluten free vegan dessert
