Great Spot!

Stopped here after a beautiful morning hiking and swimming at the falls. This is a cool brewery, restaurant, unique gifts and a little butterfly garden too! Would not believe it's just along the sloped road, in the brush and everything is just neat! Enjoyed a vegan burger with fries which tasted better than most I've tried! Really fresh, good portion, hearty and nothing greasy. The service was exceptional. I bought cool butterfly earrings and visited the butterfly's too. From here we trekked down to the village. A perfect day and a must stop!
FYI- I would give 5 stars but site only used for pure vegan spots!

Good food with Veg*n options & Great Butterfly Garden

Food was very good with lots of veg*n options. The free butterfly garden is definitely worth seeing and makes it worth a trip to the restaurant too.

Nice shaded patio. Next to a yoga retreat center, and close to the famous Montezuma waterfalls. We hiked & swam the waterfalls, then saw the butterfly garden (which opened at 12), then had lunch. Restaurant opened at 1pm, but they let us in about 12:40, gave us a nice table on the patio and let us order drinks (some good non-alcoholic choices).

Food was a bit pricey according to Costa Rican standards (as many places in Montezuma are), but it was very tasty.

Owned by a nice guy from Washington State who was also working there the day we visited.

Would have given it 5 stars if that was allowed, but since it’s not fully vegan it looks like 4 stars is the highest we can give.
