Not a fully veg resto.

This is a non-vegetarian restaurant that happens to have a separate vegetarian menu. From what I understand it’s the same kitchen.

Fed me meat

I ordered the general Tao tofu, and thought it was an amazing mock meat. Went back again and ordered the same thing and quickly realized the first time I went they gave me chicken :( very disappointed because it's advertised as vegetarian but it's connected to a non-vegetarian restaurant, and may give you meat, even if you order off the vegetarian menu!!
When I went it was completely empty and there was no music playing so it felt very awkward to be there. Also the owner (?) got into a loud argument with an ubereats take out driver.
The food that actually was vegetarian was very tasty though.

Pros: Food was good

Cons: Fed me meat, Awkward atmosphere

It's OK but not always consistent

The first time we went my partner had a piece of chicken on her plate so that was upsetting.

It was better the second time we went as the service was good and the food was decent.

So not quite one of our favorites but a decent place to go to when we're in the area.

Cons: Can get quite loud when they are having large grou

Disappointing for a vegan

I was pretty disappointed with this restaurant. The server didn't really know what was vegan, and in the end, none of the appetizers were vegan and only a few of the main courses were. Everything was pretty cheap, so I guess it was worth the price, but nothing was great. The only thing I would recommend would be the pad thai. It was also freezing the entire time we were there.

Pros: cheap, vegetarian menu

Cons: not many vegan options, not great service, very cold

Highly recommended !

Love this place. The food is always so good. My husband and i love to go to Cafe i ching for dinner on weekend. Sometimes we order by phone and they just deliver for you in a hour later. Our favorite dishes are Vegetarian peanut butter dumplings, Pho Vietnamese soup and Sesame kabob, You must try!!! Super delicious !!

Pros: Good food, Nice service, Close to the metro

Good food

After you enter the restaurant, you will realise that, the vegetarian restaurant is connected to the non-vegetarian restaurant next door. So, you get a vege menu and a non-vege menu. Main course is around 8-9$, but portion is just right for one person, would like to say, kind of a slightly small. But if you are having appertizer and main course, then this would be just perfect. We loved the spring roll, kind of the best i ever eaten in Montreal. They have high chairs and booster chairs for the children. It has a nice ambience too.

Pros: Food, Price

Cons: Serving meat too
