Serves meat, vegan options available. Typical Dalmatian restaurant with plenty of meat served. However, has a choice of vegetarian meals that are clearly marked. Some meals are also vegan, but not marked as such and require knowledge of the local cuisine. NOTE: Reported October 2022 to have limited vegan options – please send updates to HappyCow. Open Mon-Sun 07:00-23:00.

Don't know what vegan means - Edit
I second that comment saying that the waiters don't know what vegan means. I'm pretty sure they don't have any vegan main dishes. They definitely don't have the risotto anymore

No knowledge about vegan food - Edit
We came here because of the good reviews but left without eating there. The waiter was not ready to answer to my questions (e.g. If they are using cheese to prepare the risotto). He was just unfriendly and not informed at all. He clearly didn't know what vegan means. After all, I didn't feel welcomed, so we left.

Fancy and tasty - Edit
I had mushroom Rissoto, lemonade, season salad and garden smothie here. All was delicious. The server understood without lactose and vegan. The restaurant give a really fancy feeling. The toilets are also super modern and clean.

Delicious Risotto - Edit
Very tasty risotto, orange juice was delicious and fresh. Prices pretty typical for the region, partner enjoyed his (meat) dish too. Great waiter, perfect English, menus outside are in various languages as well.

Tasty risotto - Edit
Stopped here as I had read they had a good mushroom risotto dish. There aren't many places in Trogir offering vegan options so I headed to Calebotta for this dish. It was delish! The menu can be a bit confusing though - the risotto is labelled as 'vege' which after talking to the waitress, I assume means vegetarian rather than vegan. After telling her I'm vegan, she asked what I can't eat and talked to the chef to make sure it was vegan. Best to always make sure they understand what you need to avoid as I'm not sure many restaurants in Split fully understand unless they have a specific vegan menu etc. Shout out to the waitress who was super friendly and helpful!

Beautiful garden and atmosphere - Edit
Great service, lovely setting in the garden. Only one vegan main option (mushroom risotto) but it was very delicious and full of truffle flavour. Other vegan options were side dishes (fries, grilled vegetables) and a vegetarian gazpacho.
