Mostly vegan but cow's milk is available for drinks. Companion animal friendly. Open Tue-Sun 09:00-15:00. Open online for orders 24/7, restocks Fridays at 9am.

Delicious bakes! - Edit
I had a flat white with oat milk which was very nice - appreciate the no extra charge for vegan milks. The baked goods were fantastic, got a vegan chocolate chip cookie and a biscoff brownie. Bad pictures sorry, they got eaten too quickly! Brownie was very rich - be warned! We got there an hour before close and they do half priced baked goods from then onwards which was a nice suprise. Lovely staff but there was only one person on the coffee machine and it was pretty busy so the service was quite slow.

I've loved chunk cookies since their little bakery first started so I was so happy when they opened their cafe! Its worth noting that the owners do not claim it is a vegan cafe, but the vast majority of their products are vegan. All bakes and drinks are vegan by default, they do stock dairy milk for those who prefer it but you have to specify it in your order, so no one can accidentally get dairy.
Read moreYou can tell a lot of love has gone into this cafe, it's cosy and welcoming, the range of cookies, cakes and pastries is great (I never thought I'd go in and not have a cookie but the butterscotch pastries have converted me), he coffee is excellent. Its dog-friendly, there are highchairs available, and it's nursing-friendly.

Amazing addition to Burley area - Edit
I'm in absolute love with this bakery, they sell such a selection of beautiful baked goods. From their infamous cookies to pastries to cakes! All vegan! Which to me is an absolute dream!! The owners are a lovely pair and are so welcoming. The atmosphere of this cafe is very unique, a good community vibe. They also held an evening event recently which I had the pleasure of going to, and I have to say it's the spot!

It is listed as vegan but it isn't vegan. - Edit
There are many really good vegan cake and drink options but this is not a fully vegan cafe. It appears to be vegetarian only despite what previous reviews say.

You can submit updates via the link above. Until they opened the cafe, they were fully vegan and you can see many reviews pre-date the opening of the cafe. The business isn't necessarily responsible for the listing either, they haven't claimed to be a fully vegan cafe and I have flagged this update with Happy Cow. The only non-vegan item is dairy milk which people specifically have to request when ordering a drink, everything else is vegan by default.

A welcome addition to the area! - Edit
Burley has always had forward thinking vegans living among its leafy streets to it is great to have yet another addition to the community. This place serves an exciting and tasty variety of sweet baked treats, substantial loaves and delicious well sourced beverages in a smart yet cosy environment. The goods are crafted with care and attention to detail, certifying this place as well worth frequenting. The staff are friendly and helpful and can even do latte art of dogs!

Read moreOnly a month old and already getting it right, amazing coffee and I could resist the almond pastry. Lots of sweet choices and sandwiches coming on the menu shortly, apparently. Go visit.

This place is amazing! Great bakes, great coffee, great atmosphere. Amy and Diego have worked so hard to turn a home baking cookie business into a lovely café and if you’re in the area you should definitely try Amy’s incredible Guiness cake (plus buy a few cookies to take home).

The most perfect vegan cookies EVER. - Edit
Could not be more obsessed with these incredibly tasty, chunky cookies. Every flavour is delicious - my personal favourites are oreo and chocolate orange. I’ve ordered many times and they are just perfection. Such a lovely cafe and atmosphere. In all my years of veganism these are by FAR the best quality and very well priced.

Used to love the cookies. Last few I've had tasted salty and of raw cookie dough, I really dislike raw cookie dough. Seem to have made them look prettier at the expense of taste in my opinion.
