Heavenly desserts - Edit
We came here for just desserts and ended up trying one of the main dishes because it just sounded so interesting. Everything was delicious, and besides vegan they also have lots of gluten free options.

Très bonne adresse - Edit
Proposition d'entrée, plat et dessert végétarien ou vegan (avec possibilité de demander une version vegan quand ce n'est pas le cas). Et les régimes sont écrits explicitement sur la carte à côté de chaque plat.

Savoury vegan breakfast waffle! - Edit
I had the vegan veggie breakfast waffle which was really really good! They put some hummus, Avocado, cooked vegetables and a mountain of salad on top.
Read moreThe service wasn’t that fast, even though I was the only one there. But I liked that they serve a bottle of tap water for free and even brought another one when I finished the first.
The interior is very lovely, they also have an outdoor sitting area and the staff speaks English.

Very nice - Edit
My companion and I shared two appetizers and they were very nice (a spicy hummus that wasn’t really spicy but was tasty, and an outstanding eggplant dish). Unfortunately we couldn’t order the one vegan main on offer when I visited because it contained peanuts, which I’m allergic to. I would go back on a future visit if they had a plat principal I could eat.

Une très bonne adresse ! - Edit

Many clearly labeled vegan options - Edit
I read a bad review, so I asked about the vegan-labeled foods, if they have any animal product in it, and they don’t. The menu is available only in French, but one waiter speaks English and he translated us everything.
Read moreThere is a vegan starter, a vegan main course and three vegan desserts. The Buddha bowl is tasty and surprisingly filling. It is true, that the restaurant is expensive and it has only a few food options, but this is the case in the whole city, at least inside the walls, not only here.

Avoid - Edit
We went there for breakfast and I ordered the as vegan marked waffles. They looked great and I took a big bite only to discover that they had used goats cheese as a spread. I asked the waiter assuming that this was a mistake from the kitchen. She did not seem to understand the problem... I gave up and left, unfortunately again confirmed in my believe, that France is really not a great place for vegans.

Sorry you had to experience this 😔 unfortunately, a lot of french restaurants don't understand what Vegan is. The best city is still Paris tho! I hope some places had been great beside of this one!

Pricy but good - Edit
I had a vegan Falafel kebab with onions and a side salad. The taste was really unexpected since the different components were quite special and felt they would not match good together. But they did! Well done

Vegan options, warm welcome, dog friendly! - Edit
Various vegan options. We had a delicious brunch with sweet potato waffle topped with hummus, butternut squash, red onion and salad - YUM. Also soya/almond milk for coffees 😀 Friendly staff, spoke English too and confirmed vegan options.

Lovely - Edit
Very pleasant experience at Coeur d'Artichaut. We were able to sit outside and the service was prompt and friendly. I ordered the Buddha Bowl, which was on the small side, but everything was very fresh and well-seasoned. The chocolate ganache-like dessert with noisettes was heavenly. The vegetarian burger option that day was not the best, at least not for my kids, since it was roasted eggplant and a large ball of burrata between slices of bun, without a traditional patty. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but perhaps not the easiest place to take (picky) kids. Still, would recommend.

Nice - Edit
I had the Buddha bowl which was very nice. You can also have the burger and they make it vegan if requested. They have a nice outdoor seating area, which is conveniently shaded (there are also some tables without shade). For dessert they have a vegan waffle with chocolate or a cookie.
Read moreI was here with a large group of omnis and we were all satisfied.
They don’t have many food options, vegan or not, but I think that’s the usual case for these types of restaurants.

Healthy food, friendly and knowledgeable staff - Edit
We popped in here for a late lunch and they were very helpful explaining the options that could be made vegan. I had the soup and the burger with avocado creme instead of mayonnaise, both of which were very tasty. Would recommend.

Dry burger - Edit
Burger looked nice but the quinoa burger was incredibly dry and flaked apart immediately. Really disappointed and for 16 euros, I would have expected better. Seemed like it was style over substance

Would give 5 stars if I could!!! - Edit
Such a friendly waiter who knew very good English and helped myself (vegan) and my boyfriend (vegetarian) out with the menu to find what we could eat. We both went for the Buddha Bowl which was amazing and so filling!! Well worth the €15. Their detox juice of the day was amazing too! Went away with 2 vegan cookies (€2.50 each) which were also very good. Highly recommend coming here if you’re close by!

Great vegan options - Edit
Highly recommend this place. Would have written 5 stars but you can’t do that for restaurants that aren’t fully V/Ve. Our waiter Julian was friendly and spoke perfect English (we don’t French). He seemed thrilled to tell us about their vegan options, which is always a nice feeling, knowing you’re welcome. They had three vegan entres and three vegan mains and various desserts. Julian said they strive to always cater for vegans and make nice new dishes. We had some bruschetta type thing, waffle with roast veg and Thai soup. All great.

Best vegan place in town - Edit
What an amazing food! The vegan waffles and the detox juice were simply divine and the vegan thai soup was also great. The staff is totally helpful, speaks perfect English, even offered to translate the French menu to English (although I would really appreciate a separate English menu). But absolutely positive that all vegan items are clearly marked on the menu. On Sunday they have vegan brunch, too, would love to try it. Thanks for this amazing experience! :)

Located at 24, rue de la Bonneterie in Avignon, in a lively neighborhood, this restaurant offers several choices of starters, dishes and Vegans desserts and gluten-free.

Vegan waffles are very good with avocado, beet and mix of sprouts, a treat.
The active charcoal burger is impressive and for dessert, the vegan and gluten free waffle is bluffing with its homemade spread!

After many hours exploring the Pope's Palace, this was a fantastic place for a hearty & delicious vegan lunch. We had the vegan burger so many people have raved about - it is as good as other reviewers say! I'm so pleased we went here for lunch. The waiter also spoke great English & was very helpful.

Tasty food but expensive tea - Edit
Nice place with tasty food. Several vegan options. The vegan burger was good, tasty. Maybe a little bite was lacking. The tea was 4.50 euros, which seems out of proportion.
