Vegan Version of “Pastel de Nata” - Edit
The experience was "strangely" incredible, because it was the first time we had ordered in German in "Portuguese". The waitress was friendly, I felt very comfortable and it was the first time I tried the "pastel de nata" after becoming vegan. I found this vegan version very tasty, and it proves that we can make very honest and reliable versions without using animal ingredients. We also had an espresso, nothing exceptional (for those with a taste for specialty coffee, I don't recommend it), but it somehow went well with the "pastel de nata".

A atendente foi simpática, me senti bastante à vontade e foi a primeira vez que experimentei o “pastel de nata” depois de ter me tornado vegano. Essa versão vegana achei muito saborosa, e prova que podemos fazer versões bem honestas e fidedignas sem usar ingredientes de origem animal. Tomamos também um espresso, nada excepcional (para quem está com o paladar de café especial, não recomendo), mas de alguma maneira combinou com o “pastel de nata”.

Nice Portuguese Cafe - Edit
Vegan options are not labelled but the stuff helps you out. The small pastries were very delicious and they had oat milk for the coffee.

Specialties for Vegans - Edit
A lovely little cafe in the Portuguese quarter that offers vegans the chance to try some classic sweets like the vanilla (classic) Nata. Good coffee with lots of different options for plant milks too.
