Was sooooo excited to come here. However everything was stale and even worse the burrito that had been kept in the window facing the sun had clearly soured. It smelled awful and tasted worse. Such a shame.

Craft Vegan Bakery - Edit
I had high hopes for the pastries at the craft vegan bakery, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. I visited two locations, but neither of them lived up to my expectations. The mini croissant resembled the crescent rolls you can buy in the US and make at home. The wheat croissant was decent, but it had an unusual taste. The only redeeming quality was the chocolate croissant, but even that was not particularly impressive.

Here we go, one of those places again! This bakery advertises itself as 100% vegan, but it's actually one of those businesses I still don’t understand why they exist: they use cow’s milk “if requested” and sell vegetarian products containing cheese.

At this particular branch, the experience was made worse by the server attitude. Extremely slow, clearly uninterested, and visibly lacking any motivation to do the job. When we asked for information about why they serve not vegan products, the answers were dismissive and indifferent — just one step away from saying “I really don’t care.”

Great vegan bakery I saw by chance. I only had a Pain au chocolat but everything looked delicious. Has a few tables on the street but I did takeaway.

During my time in Buenos Aires Craft Vegan Bakery became one of my favorite spots. I love how it’s all vegan and their array of baked goods made my vegan heart happy. They have have three different kinds of medialunas and I fell in love with the “not butter” one. I frequented often during different hours of the day and I learned they only bake around three of each item per day. Which made me sad when it was 3pm and there weren’t any of the “not butter” medialunas left, that disappointed me many times. The whole wheat one is good, the nonfat one is incomparably not good and is basically a crappy croissant. Nothing was like the not butter one. I went out of my way to get it and I still dream of them. Highly recommend for vegan treats.

A full vegan bakery. Medialunas, croissants, breads and also sandwiches and other ready to go options. The capuccino was not the best I have, but it's ok. The prices are aforfable.

So many amazing and beautiful looking options, with pretty cheap prices. Go to favourite was definitely the Pain au chocolat or the plain croissant. Both tasted really great, presented well and quantity is pretty big.

Read moreAlso tried a jam pastry - this was excellent - really fruity tasty and not overly sweet. Pastry case was crispy.
The place also has other pastries available and an excellent looking selection of bread. There was a fridge or freezer with other vegan items for sale too.

My favorite things are the Chausson with apple filling, pan au chocolate, medialuna and the frozen pizzas. The bakery does use almonds in the coffees and in cheese products. There are no other plant based alternatives if you want a latte or coffee with milk.
