Sehr schönes Café mit vielen appetitlichen veganen Gerichten. Es wäre aber wünschenswert, dass der Kellner ehrlich antwortet, wenn man fragt, ob ein Gericht scharf ist oder nicht. Konnte deswegen den tatsächlich scharfen mexikanischen Wrap kaum essen. Sonst sehr leckere Kuchen. Personal ist nicht sehr aufmerksam und spricht sehr leise.

Wir waren zum Kaffe und Kuchen hier. Der große Kaffee ist hier auch wirklich groß, sehr zufriedenstellend. Die Kuchen (Johannisbeer-Streusel und Himbeerkuchen) waren super lecker und in angemessenen Größen. Generell sahen alle Kuchen in der Auslage richtig gut aus.

Sehr nettes Café. Man sitzt sehr gemütlich in der Konstanzer Altstadt, dementsprechend sind auch die Preise… Kaffee und Kuchen schmeckt sehr gut. Die Auswahl an Kuchen war komplett vegan und alles sah sehr gut aus.

“Everything is vegan” - Edit
Based on some reviews, we thought this place was mostly vegetarian with some vegan options. But when we asked the barista she said “everything is vegan”, and we were the happiest people because all the pies looked absolutely amazing. We had cheesecake and a chocolate croissant, and both were amazing. All coffees served with plant based milk. We may come back later and try their vegan waffles!

Energetisiertes Wasser, wenn ich so etwas lese, würde ich am liebsten gleich wieder gehen. Warum ist Veganismus so häufig mit Esoterik verbunden? Immer daran denken: Nicht nur das Auge isst mit, sondern auch das Gehirn.

1 Stern Abzug wegen Esoterik-Alarm, ansonsten gäbe es fünf Sterne.
P.S.: Der Barrista sagte, bei ihnen es sei alles vegan.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Ich hatten die Kirchweintorte und diese war köstlich 🤤 Die Säure der Sauerkirschen war perfekt ausgewogen mit der Süße der Creme. Die Creme aus Sojasahne und Seidentofu war luftig locker und überhaupt nicht zu reichhaltig. Gab noch mindestens 10 andere Kuchen zur Auswahl 🙂

This restaurant is truly amazing, a big recommendation! Their food is organic, seasonal and almost everything is vegan. They serve delicious local dishes like Spätzle or Maultaschen. And the cakes! Ohhh, the cakes! All vegan, big pieces and so yummy! Also they have all kinds of drinks with plant milk. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back!

This cafe is literally perfect. There are a lot of vegan options and you can also get homemade vegan cheese if you have breakfast. Coffee can be ordered with vegan milk as well, for example with oat milk like I did. I had breakfast there and it was SO delicious. The service is very kind, too. A visit there is totally worth it.

Wir hatten zum einen “Das Große“ Frühstück und ein Haferporridge und waren wirklich begeistert. Alles hat super geschmeckt und wir wurden richtig satt. Die Heiße Schokolade war top zubereitet und der “Kimcheese“ vom Frühstück hat eine ware Geschmacksexplosion ausgelöst. Ich kann das Voglhaus definitiv weiterempfehlen!

Wir haben uns morgens Waffeln eine mit Apfelmus und eine mit Schokolade und Banane geholt. Die waren sooo lecker! Die Schokolade war richtig lecker und nicht mit einer fertig gekaufen Schokocreme zu vergleichen weil sie richtig frisch und fruchtig geschmeckt hat

Right in the middle of the old town. I got the spätzle, they could have used more salt in my opinion as the food was quite bland. I expected to get a heavy cream sauce but it was more like a vegetable broth. The chai latte could have been less watery. Apart from that it was food, many options.

Everytime we visit Konstanz we go here as there’s plenty of tasty options. Breakfast is great and there’s always a decent selection of cakes. Also soya milk etc and lunch dishes including wraps and curries. Highly recommend.

We came hungry but shortly before closing hours. Still they made us a whole menu, I had the vegan Maultaschen. Since the portions are not too big, there was room left for a vegan cake. It was very tasty. The staff is super friendly and supports the stores values. There is a huge variety, they use organic food. They have products from the Solidarische Landwirtschaft. It was a perfect experience. Pay extra for cow milk! They have a counter for Co2 savings for every plant based milk you drink.

I enjoyed everything - Edit
Within 3 days I have been three times there. I enjoyed the salty dishes, the cakes and the chai latte, very flavoured with not too much sugar. Service is perfect. The place is welcoming and well decorated. I absolutly recommand it. Everything is vegetarian and almost everything is vegan.

Tolles Café mit vielen veganen Optionen - Edit
Das Voglhaus ist ein kleines Café im Herzen von Konstanz. Der Gastraum ist sehr schön gestaltet und man hat sowohl Orte zum geselligen Zusammensitzen als auch Plätze, an die man sich eher zurückziehen kann. Die begehrtesten Plätze sind sicherlich die "im Fenster" bzw. bei schönem Wetter natürlich die Außentische. Es gibt noch einen weiteren Gastraum in einem anderen Gebäudeteil, in dem auch das sogenannte "Kaufhaus" untergebracht ist, in dem es Delikatessen, Mode und Geschenkartikel zu kaufen gibt. Es herrscht Selbstbedienung, das Personal ist durchweg freundlich. Leider sind die veganen Optionen nicht direkt gekennzeichnet (Update 2019: nun gibt es eine Kennzeichnung), weswegen man jedes Mal nachfragen muss. (Bei den Kuchen steht aber auch eine Zutatenliste dabei). Der Kaffee ist Fair Trade und super lecker, man kriegt ihn auch mit Soja- und Dinkelmilch.
Read moreNun zum Essen: es ist einfach wunderbar! Jedes Gericht, das ich bisher probiert habe, fand ich sehr schmackhaft und sehr gut abgeschmeckt. Mein Liebling bisher ist der mexikanische Wrap. (für den kleinen Hunger)
