Insider Tip Everything is Failing the Health Code Here

If I could rate negative, I would.

The food quality has gone way down. No flavor. Cold.

Roaches fall from the walls here. Rats run wild in the kitchen. The A/C is not getting fixed. You are supposed to sweat into your food.

They will use non-vegan products and call it vegan. The bar uses Martini and Rosso which we told them isn't vegan, and they continue to use it. They had non-vegan bacon their chicken cutlet club sandwiches for months, poisoning people who haven't had egg in decades because they didn't want to waste the money they'd spent on the bacon. This alone is terrifying as a 6 year vegan.

The kitchen is terrifying. Days old food all across the floors, rats running in and out of drains and through the walls. Once we had to evacuate the Lounge when a guest, a paying customer informed us there was a huge roach Crawling above their heads during dinner.

As an employee(with many good reviews from customers under my middle name, Kris):

Management: does nothing. Gaslights staff for the owners. They are never on site. They are drinking around the corner or cursing out 20 year old employees.

A typical day at work is stressful unorganized, smelly, hot like the sun, and roaches fall from the ceiling.

Workplace culture is all about harassing the employees. A server passed out of heat exhaustion and had a panic attack when they rolled out an unorganized and chaotic brunch, while running him up and down flights of stairs and barking at him in 105 degree weather. They proceeded to continously pick at him after this, even though he was the best server they had. They bullied a bartender just to laugh at him and then fire him. They should be closed for their harmful workplace culture.

The hardest part about the job was the stench, the roaches, the heat, and the Naziesque owners.

The most enjoyable part of the job was getting a job with their biggest competition the same day they "let me go". FOH staff was going to walk out from the bar/restaurant anyway.

Pros: Interior Design, Location, The kitchen staff is nice and patient

Cons: The owners are abusive to customers and staff, The food is always cold or could have eggs in it, Bar/restaurant, it doesn't pass the health code
