It was fine but not amazing 3.5 stars - Edit
The restaurant itself is nicely set out and it has a great feel to it. Service was also friendly and prompt. There were a few vegetarian mains but only 2 vegan ones. It didn’t bother me in the way it seems to with others on this page that there wasn’t much options for vegans, as long as the ones in question are tasty. I chose the oyster mushroom one, as I love mushrooms, sadly although the pizza generally was fine it was scattered with a relatively generous helping of mushrooms but they tasted of absolutely nothing. They might as well not have been there. Such a shame as it would have been so simple to marinate or fry them or do something to make them stand out but they didn’t. Shame and that’s why I’m giving it 3.5 stars.

Pizza is average - Edit
Well, the restaurant is nicely decorated and looks inviting, although some tables are positioned better than others. It's a small place and for dinner time it gets pretty crowded and also pretty hot.
Read moreNow about the pizza; I love a good napoletana and that's not what they have here. I saw some nice pictures online but the pizza that we got looked and tasted average. The vegan cheese is one of these generic ones from the shop and was pretty scarcely distributed as where also all the other toppings.
The one thing that stood out at Dej was definitely the waiter; even though he was taking care of the whole restaurant by himself he didn't loose his smile and his friendly attitude. Sadly I must say I wouldn't come back here.

es gab zwei vegane pizzen, ich habe mich für die pizza mit pilzen, oliven, veganem mozzarella und basilikum entschieden. die pizza war sehr lecker, besonders der teig!
meine freundin hatte die pasta bianca (als vegetarisch gekennzeichnet, enthält jedoch grana padano!), sie war ebenfalls sehr zufrieden.
leider war es sehr laut im restaurant, bedingt durch den live DJ und die vielen menschen auf doch relativ kleinem raum.
das personal war sehr nett, die einrichtung ist auch süß.
ich würde wieder hier essen gehen!
gerne mehr vegane pizzen und/oder pasta gerichte!
preis leistung passt.

A real shame because while I did enjoy a really tasty pizza with oyster mushrooms and black olives (and a great, sourdough base!) I found the starter and main course options to be very limited with only two vegan pizzas left compared to the four that they used to have (check the reviews before this one to see what I mean).

Great Pizza, Great Staff - Edit
I had the Vegan chorizo pizza and it was lovely. Whenever I go to places like this I always wonder what Vegan cheese they use because I can never get mine to melt like theirs. The staff were amazing too, very attentive and quick!

When my partner and I took a Sunday walk around the city, we decided to find some lunch. We were close by Dej, so we decided to try it out.
Read moreNice staff and atmosphere, and a fine small selection of vegan pizzas: some with just veggies, some with faux meat. I chose the chorizo one and my partner the mushroom one.
The pizza itself was tasty and the toppings were nice, but the dough was really soggy and a little rubbery. Difficult to cut with a knife. Crust was good!

The restaurant was super warm from the pizza oven - great on a day which barely broke 2 degrees. There were 5ish vegan options, nice to have that many to choose from. I went for the mushroom one and added vegan chorizo. All the ingredients were tasty, but the pizza itself was really sloppy and wet. The crust was properly crusty and delish; shame the rest of the pizza wasn't as crusty. Not possible to pick up a slice and eat it/part of it. My friend's (non-vegan) pizza was the same. And the meal didn't translate too well in the morning (if you catch my drift).

I had the chorizo pizza, it was one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve had! I loved the decor too, even the ladies’ toilet! There were four vegan pizza choices when I was there.

Good pizza with social dining - Edit
Visited in July 2022. They use social dining which means that we were put in the same table with some other people. This was great because otherwise we wouldn't have fit in to the restaurant. The pizza and service was very nice.

Amazing Vegan Pizzas! The CRUST is perfect!! - Edit
I wish this place only made vegan pizzas, because they are so good at it. The place is called ‘Dej’ (english: Dough) and that is well named. The crust is perfect, really. And the pizzas have great variations and tastes. Plus they can make great drinks (ours was alcohol free). These are my favorite pizzas in Denmark, actually the best I have ever tasted.

Made a reservation for brunch yesterday and I get a call one hour before my reservation to inform me that they don't serve brunch during the week days anymore. One hour before I was supposed to know. When asking them why am I informed on such short notice their response is that they didn't check the reservation yesterday.

I got all 3 different vegan pizzas. The zucchini one was amazing, the spinat and potato pizza was alright but a little mushy and the salami one was nothing like the picture. It was completely dry and with almost no topping on it.
