Lovely staff + food - Edit
First guy I spoke to didn't speak english, got another guy. Super friendly and understanding. Vegan food no problem, just ask. Very fair prices and super tasty. Very attentive staff.
Read moreAlso it's neither super hot nor super cold inside as they only have fans, no AC (I was soo glad about this.)

Wow Wow Wow - Edit
I'm going to start by say excellent kind and generous service.
Read moreThe food has been wonderful, all menu vegetarian with a couple of delicious vegan dishes.
You can easily communicate and your diet is always understandable.
Always with a smile, ate here at least 4/6 times and every time was better than the first.
Pros: 4 or 5 don't really remember but can also make , Vegan for you. YELLOW DAL, SAMOSA, Wonderful Chana Masala
Cons: It's not expensive 100-150 THB per person , For two or three dishes , Really loved it, hope you will too😄

Minimalist, Bland and Overpriced - Edit
We came here because, relatively speaking, the dishes were inexpensive compared to other veg Indian eateries in the area; and discovered that this was because each 'dish' was nothing more than an appetiser. At 20 THB a plate - almost the price of a local meal - we expected the serving of rice to be an adequate amount, but were forced to order several chappattis (also tiny) to accompany the child's-size servings of 'curry'. As if that wasn't disappointing enough, the meals were fairy tasteless and uninspired - worse than anything I've ever made at home - and the vegetable curry, which the owner described as being composed of capsicum and other vegetables, consisted of only diced carrot and beans (COMPLETELY DEVOID OF CAPSICUM!!!), and contained enough salt to float Donald Trump's corpse.
Read moreTo top it off, the owner attempted to rip us off when paying the bill - adding a mysterious 25% to the plain rice, and additional 12% 'VAT' - neither of which appear on the menu. If you are game to dine at this place, make sure you check every item on the bill.

Cons: tiny portions, misrepresented dishes, bland uninspired fare, extremely overpriced, mysterious additions to the bill

The best meal I have had in Bangkok! - Edit
The menu had a good selection of dishes. I was able to eat with my hands as if in India and it felt great! The staff were able to speak English which was so helpful. The other costumers were smiley and it felt like a really relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is not fancy, it is basic but clean and cheap! It is located down a few small roads making it slightly difficult to find without using a map. I will return to it again asap!!

Cons: It would be great if there were short descriptions, Vegan dishes not specified on menu, assured by sta

nice little spot right next to Herwin's - Edit
small, humble little place just a couple of doors down from Herwin's Cafe. the best way to find it would be to go to Herwin's website and follow that simple map. not too much stock that I saw other than some nice samosas and Indian sweets. good option if you arrive (like I did!) at Herwin's on a Monday or Tuesday when they're closed.
