Great vegan snacks - Edit
Was struggling to find food vegan sweets in the city, but was lucky enough to find this place. Bought a vegan brownie and macaroon, and both are delicious. Owner speaks English, and is super friendly.

Great place to less waste shopping - Edit
I wanted to find a place that sells in bulk, which is not so usual in the city. This place is great! They have everything you need (grains, nuts and seeds, cereals..) in bulk, plus it's organic!!
Read moreThey also sell breads, packaged tofu or vegan cheezes, organic veggies & fruits.
The lady was nice, if you bring your own bags you have -5% off discount. Also they do have a loyalty card which I believe it's a gift after +4/5 times buying for more than 10euros each time.
If you are "zero waste" and are already conscious of your impact just go there!!!
Locations is just nearby the Noodermarkt!
Pros: Bulk organic shop, Vegan options
Cons: None

cosy grocery stuff - Edit
make sure if you want something vegan that you can see the ingredients. They have informed me about several stuff wrong (they ensured certain stuff to be vegan, but in fact it wasn't). It is a very cute bio grocery shop and very nice to combine with the awesome bio market at saterdays at the Noordermarkt (it is next to each other).

Spoiled for choice - Edit
This is one of the best non-fully-veg health food shops I have ever been in. There are uncountable varieties of beans, nuts, seeds, “superfoods,” coffees, teas and dried fruits sold by weight, as well as pastries and breads made on the premises and a large selection of drinks, oils, spreads, tofu and meat and dairy substitutes. I was a little surprised that the staff member I spoke to did not knowif their own cakes were vegan, but appreciated that they looked it up and showed me which ones I could have in the store recipe book without me having to ask or wait for this. Considering they are competing with a lot of chain stores in the area, the prices are quite reasonable, so I would say that the only downside is that some meat and dairy products are stocked and mixed in amongst the vegetarian and vegan items.

Great store - Edit
Stopped by here when walking around Jordaan. This place was fantastic! Loved the bulk section. They also got a kitchen in the back where they made their soups, all kinds of nut butters and preserves, as well as baked goods. We bought a piece of apple pie and a bag of vegan oat cookies to go. They were delicious!
