Nice spot by the sea,Taco rice is very good! - Edit
This place has few vegan options and a little bit expensive for the small amount of food…I tried the taco rice and was very good! Coffee also was nice! Staff is not very attentive to your order and the kitchen was a little bit slow even if wasn’t very busy. Loved the atmosphere.

Crummy customer service - Edit
After a great morning at the beach, we were really excited to try this place for lunch. We arrived at about 1:30 and stood awkwardly at the entrance waiting for someone to acknowledge us. No one did. Eventually we realized that the first floor is an unrelated coffee shop and Diego is on the second floor.
Read moreSo we climbed the stairs where we saw one empty table, but the guy told us to go wait outside. Ok, I thought, he’s getting the table ready for us. We waited in the hot sun for 15 minutes before someone finally came down and told us that that empty table had already been reserved and that they weren’t sure if a table would open up before the last order at 2:30. Fine, but it would have been really nice if they’d told us that when we arrived.
We waited a little more and then left, hungry and frustrated. There aren’t any other places in the area with vegan options and we were really excited to try theirs.

Amazing taco rice - Edit
Spouse and I stopped in for their vegan taco rice, and it did not disappoint. We weren’t expecting to see a place offer a vegan version of the traditionally Okinawan dish! Nice view of the river as well. Place wasn’t busy when we went but could have been off-hours for dinner. Really impressed with the taco rice and was a very memorable meal on our trip.

Great vibes and view - Edit
Came by this place on accident, we went to the (really good) coffee place on the first floor and they told us that Diego upstairs had a vegan menu! The place was really cute, surf diner themed, and had booths with a wide view onto the river. Perfect place to chill out while it was pouring rain.

Don’t skip the coffee place downstairs😄

Great Burrito - Edit
We had their vegan burrito as a takeaway, it was delicious! Not the biggest but not small either.

Delicious - Edit
The place is nice, facing a river(as the name already suggests 😂) and in a walking distance from Enoshima beach. I tried the Vegan Burger and it was amazing, well seasoned and the fries crispy.

Vegan Options in Not So Vegan-Friendly Enoshima - Edit
You would think that as a popular tourist destination Enoshima would have plenty of vegan options, like neighboring Kamakura, but the reality is quite different. That's why it was so exciting to find this casual restaurant with THREE clearly marked vegan options! They have a vegan burger, vegan taco rice, and a vegan burrito! We sat on the rooftop terrace and ordered the burger and burrito. Both were very tasty but a bit on the smaller side. The fries that came with the burger were not so many either, leaving the plate about half empty. All of this is to be expected in Japan though. In other cases I'd give it three stars (the four star equivalent of a fully vegan place), but because there's nothing else around really, I'm willing to give it four.
