Excellent savory croissant - Edit
The ‘Italian croissant’ filled with pesto and rocket salad was extremely tasty. The ‘portobello croissant’ was nice too but I preferred the fresh and flavorful filling of the ‘Italian croissant’ over the cheesy one.

No sé si por el vermut que me había tomado, o porque no estaba prestando atención, me sentía un poco perdido. Al ver la estatua de Tirso de Molina ya sabía en qué plaza me encontraba, al igual que habían hecho otros ilustres como Sabina, Béquer o Sorolla. En ese momento, esta zona yo la consideraba el distrito Centro de Madrid, lo que no sabía es que me iba a adentrar en otro distrito totalmente diferente tan sólo cruzar una calle: llegaba al Distrito Vegano Invernadero.

Con muy buen tino, también gracias a mi compañía, seleccionamos el «Lacón» a la gallega, el Rabo de la Vega y el Vacalao al pil pil. Seguramente, a estas alturas, os preguntaréis: ¿por qué probasteis solamente platos que originalmente no son vegetales? Justo por eso, porque si hay algo que a mi me llama la atención es la adaptación pura y dura de la comida de una zona concreta. Y no me vale la imitación del sabor (como las hamburguesas que pretenden tener el mismo sabor y textura que la carne) si no que se acomoda a las opciones vegetales salvaguardando el concepto originario. Cuando se hace esto, me estremece por dentro de júbilo ya que se suelen convertir en mis recetas favoritas. Aplaudo siempre que puedo esta valentía, aquí la sensación fue bastante buena aunque algún plato se quedó a medio camino. Más tarde, acabamos con el estupendo tiramisú, que es un detalle menor después del valor positivo de todo lo anterior, por supuesto.
Este sitio, que al principio me pareció desconocido luego se nos antojó muy corriente por su entorno poco diferenciador. Sin embargo, siempre debemos cuidar y celebrar lo que hace Distrito Vegano Invernadero, pues no todas las cocinas son capaces de traernos lo mejor de la gastronomía local o regional adaptado a las bondades de la huerta.
Gracias por tanto, intentaré volver (si no me pierdo antes).

Tienen mucha variedad y diferentes menús dependiendo de si vas a comer brunch o en el resto del día. Todo lo que probamos estaba muy bueno. El sitio es muy bonito y el precio estándar para Madrid. Hacía mucho que no comía un croissant vegano tan rico.

Vegan Pita - Edit
I had the Second Pita on the menu with vegan calamares (that tasted exactly like it) and it was mindblowing good. I had it for lunch and I could last a week on that high I got from that Pita.

I really wanted to try the tapas menu but since I was having lunch alone I couldn't order it, you have to be two people or more. I had the pita with 'calamares' and black aioli instead, that was seriously delicious. The dessert was a little disappointing though. The piña cheesecake was sold out and the waffle which I ordered instead was not really fresh.

I liked this vegan place a lot, the food is veryyy delicious, especially with pumpkin. Design of interior is quite good, staff is attentive. There are a lot of space so it was easy to get there for dinner on Sunday without reservation. I would recommend them to change paper tea bags to more eco-friendly leaves tea in the teapot.

Geschmacklich war alles sehr lecker. Besonders lecker waren die „Calamaris“ mit der Black Aioli und das Cashew Caprese, richtig gut! Der gebackene Kürbis mit Schalotten war etwas schwächer.

We got the vegan tapas menu with a bottle of wine - they were so tasty and satisfying! Also saved a little room for dessert - pineapple cheesecake! The variety and quality of food were great - definitely recommend!

You MUST get the tiramisu! - Edit
Great place for vegan food in downtown Madrid. I especially loved their tiramisu, which is some of the best I've ever had, with a delicious cream filling and intense coffee flavor. The Tokyo burger seemed very delicious (even though it's not what I ordered) and the potatoes that came with it were heavenly! Their breakfast menu also looks awesome, I'd love to try it next time. Delicious house wine. Friendly service. Chic ambiance.

Really nice vegan brunch with friendly staff.
Read more‘’Salmon’’ toast was 10/10. The brioche bread is so soft and tasty the salmon was great.
Ham and cheese croissant
was basic but still good.
We had to try the viral ‘Crookie ’ which is a cookie baked into a croissant. Really good but definitely think the added chocolate ganache was far too much and made it very sickly so we couldn’t finish it personally.
Chai latte was unfortunately bland and didn’t have much flavour but I can forgive it because we enjoyed the food

De momento solo he probado dos platos, pero conociéndoles desde que eran Distrito vegano y La tía Carlota, no tengo dudas sobre el resto de la carta. El local es precioso, sobre todo la zona que da a la calle, el staff está muy atento y son muy simpáticos. La focaccia es una locura lo buenísima que está, 100% recomendada.
