The best vegan tacos in Mexico! - Edit
We have spent 5 weeks travelling around Mexico - through Chiapas, Oaxaca, Puebla and Mexico City - and these were the best tacos we have ever had - we ended up eating here every night during our 3 night stay in Puebla. There are 6 different fillings you can choose from, we tried them all and they were all incredible, but we particularly liked the arabe, pastor, barbacoa and mole poblano. The salsas were also incredible! Enrique, the owner, is so lovely, he chatted with us during each visit, telling us about the different tacos, giving us recommendations on what to do around Puebla and Mexico City, and generally being an all round great host. My partner and I have been learning Spanish for a while, and whilst we are conversational, we are far from fluent, and Enrique was very patient with us trying to talk to him in Spanish, though he also speaks great English if you don’t speak any Spanish! All in all, if you are in Puebla, you need to come here for the tacos, even if you’re not vegan you won’t be disappointed!

Mexican street food for vegans - Edit
This is the Mexican street food experience carnivores are always bragging about, but for vegans. Enrique is on a mission to help all animals by creating these amazing flavors without using any animal products. No worries about animal fat in the tortillas. He gets them from a vegan woman who operates 7 tortillerias. The taste and the price are excellent. Enrique is interesting and nice. We were in Puebla four days. We ate there everyday and I would do this again. Highly recommend!!

There are 6 types of stews (textured soya) you can choose from for your tacos. They were all tasty, but I particularly liked the Arabe and citrusy/chilli ones. You can have melted vegan cheese on it if you like (this was also really yummy, and made from fava beans!) Note that the salsas are pretty spicy. The desserts are excellent too. We had the carlota (a Mexican take on a European dessert of lemon cream and sweet crackers) and the carrot muffin which was perfectly moist. The owner is super friendly and speaks English. Bring cash.

Best vegan tacos in town - Edit
Enrique, the owner, cooks the best vegan tacos of Puebla. I tasted "taco árabe", "taco al pastor" and "ahumada" and it was simply delicious (and not expensive at all!!!). Furthermore, Enrique and his loyal clients have an excellent conversation about vegan cooking recipes. A must for vegans, vegetarians and even omnivores !!!

Can't rate this place enough. The tacos are delicious and very affordable (15 pesos or 23 with the vegan cheese). Enrique is a lovely guy and the texture of the soya is so good that I think even meat eaters would love it here.

Absolutely loved it. Took 3 non vegans who adored the food. Staff were lovely and super friendly. Had loads of tacos and loved them. I also had carrot cake which was gorgeous. The spice lovers in the group liked the sauces. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Very reasonable. Great service and lots of locals passing by while we were there.
