I visited Elixis for brunch and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegan options. I had the vegan full English, which came with fresh sourdough, avocado, beans and a plant-based sausage.
Read moreEverything tasted homemade and well-prepared. The highlight for me was the vegan cocoa waffle – really unique and indulgent. Coffee was good too. The staff were welcoming and the atmosphere cosy, perfect for a relaxed breakfast. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and presentation do stand out. Overall, a lovely vegan-friendly spot in South Kensington worth trying if you’re in the area.

Lovely breakfast, but expensive! - Edit
We had the full English and a cocoa waffle, which were both very good. The coffee was decent too. The advertised vegan "bratwurst" was just a Linda McCartney sausage, but all the other bits were nice and fresh. It cost us nearly £100 though, which is just too much for breakfast for 3.

I went here with my partner, because it had gotten great reviews here. However, the whole brekkie was a shitshow. Their menu was not up to date and the brekkies we had picked beforehand were not available. Vegan only option was avo toast and it was anemic – white plain plate and no garnishes. It did not look like anything in pictures here (garnishes, cute wooden plate). Also, it was just plain toast-like bread, no sourdough or anything special.
Read moreThe waitress forgot our coffees and we had to remind her 2 times to get them (25 mins after ordering, our food came before the coffees did!!). She kept on forgetting my coffee order (oat cappu) and came to our table to ask what I had ordered THREE times.
I would not recommend this place, it was a waste of money.

Lovely small and very bright space with limited menu. I had the gf buckwheat waffle with fruit. And the coffees are delicious. They did default to cow milk for the cappuccino so I’m glad I checked before tasting my omni friend’s drink. Everything else is vegan.

A cool and beautiful cafe with very good things to eat.. We had their outstanding avocado toast, oat milk lattes (really good coffee!) and the unbelievably delicious beetroot brownie. It was all exceptional, and we haven’t even tried their juices yet! Can’t wait to go back.
