Nourished - Edit
Had dinner at the Ernest and ordered the Seasonal Veg Hash Bowl! Very hearty and filling, definitely got all of my veg in for the day! Great vibes for pre drinks before a night out in the toon.

Delicious breakfast - Edit
10/10 for food this was one of the best vegan breakfasts I have ever had! The bread is from a local bakery and is unreal. The place itself is gorgeous very quirky with a great outdoor seating area. The service was slow but you don’t mind when you’re in such a gorgeous place with gorgeous food and drinks!

Great Staff and Atmosphere - Edit
Had the vegetable hash bowl, which was very filling and delicious. The coffee I had was also great. The staff in particular were lovely, and even though I stupidly hadn't booked in for a Sunday they still accommodated us despite being incredibly busy. Didn't once make us feel like a burden.

Cons: Can be very busy, but I don't personally mind that

Great vegan breakfast - Edit
I have been coming here for the vegan breakfast for years and it has always been my favourite. Not the biggest fan of the replacement of the fried tofu with houmous though that they have changed recently, the tofu was one of my favourite parts, it is still a great breakfast though and not the standard veggie fry up minus eggs, they put a lot of effort into adding things to make it a full breakfast!

Cons: Expensive , Bring back the tofu!

Okay - Edit
The winter vegetable hash was okay. Would like to have seen more veg though. The chestnut and sage hummus was nice, not as flavour some as I had imagined.

Great vegan brekkie - Edit
The café is on the W side of the block. Busy place on a Sunday brunch but they fitted us in with professional service. Plant lover’s breakfast very nice indeed, I would say in my top 3! Homemade beans had a slight smoky taste mmm. Hummus with crystallised sage leaves mmm. Sourdough toast mmm. Potatoes, mushrooms and kale all lovely too! A bit pricey at £12.50 but it was like a meal. Would come here again.

Really great vegan options, several & great quality. - Edit
Very close to the entirely vegan “ship inn” round the corner but still a great place. The plant lovers breakfast is excellent, as is the banana bread french toast. Great place & lovely staff.

cute little cafe bar - Edit
This is my 3rd time visiting and I opted for the vegan plant-lover’s breakfast. It was really tasty and filling. I also had an oat milk iced latte. The waiters are really friendly too.
